Also some post back i mentioned the air flow control ring can be loose on some
some tape or as Katess mentioned this o-ring size will correct that once placed in the groove on bottom where other clear o-ring is.

Metric Buna O-ring 16 x 1mm

ID OD THICKNESS

16mm 18mm 1mm

My Ego One V2 tank and CLR coils arrived today, a quick wash of the tank and I'm vaping my NET on it. Flavor is very good right out of the box, better than the Nautilus coils to me, at 10 W (curious as to what power you guys vape it at, I'm typically around 9W on most of my MTL tanks). I can't wait to try my own cotton on it when I rebuild, the cotton it comes with looks a little ratty o_O.
The tank quality I would put as maybe a little better than say, the GS Air's, with a better air flow ring, but not up to the quality of a Naughty or Triton Mini. But for 10 bucks and better flavor, its quite a deal.
I showed no atomizer when I first put it on and when I push the tank to a certain side (actually 0.0 ohms but it does that with no atomizer on my Istick if you don't have an atomizer on it, until you push the button then it says "No Atomizer".). Moving the tank around, on two different Isticks, it seems intermittent, so I'm wondering if I have the coil in the base tight enough (I thought I had it pretty tight), or if just the leads in it aren't quite right, or if I don't have the bottom of the coil screwed in tight enough. I did notice the coil was over toward one side a bit. I'm not stopping to investigate it now, I'm enjoying it too much, lol.
Question - does anyone know what type coil wire and size is used in the CLR coils from the factory? Looks maybe 26 or 28 AWG something.

Give it a good twist, David (tighten the coil in). I've had the same problem. They're deceiving in that way (until you "get" it).

Maybe the best coil tank ever (IMO). The adjust-ability is off the charts wide. Between the airflow, and changing power setting, it has an absolutely huge range of vape & sound/silence options.

Also if it is ordered and you do not like it remember i did not recommend it only that i personally like it and it performs as good if not better than the ego tanks.

I'm interested in the pico-s...because of its refilling method...

As I understand it...leaving it on the Mod...one removes that top metal thing-a-ma-bob...then refills through the slits in the top of the yeller tank...

[Laziness is one of my more enjoyable personality traits.]

Mine did the same thing, so I unscrewed it and made sure it was even then I started to put it back in, and when I thought it was as tight as I could get it, I waited 2 seconds and tried it again to tighten and to my surprise it went for another half turn or so. If yours is lopsided I am surprised it is working at all.

But I am glad you like the tank and coils.

:)

The 1 ohm coils are a bit of a mystery to me. The wire measures 0.0122 slightly less than 28ga.
The I.D is about 2.35mm with 13mm of legs and 6 wraps. But when you put all the numbers into Steam Engine it works out to be 1.22 to 1.26. Not sure how the coils get to 1 ohm. Lately I have been twisting
30ga S.S. with 7 wraps, 2.8 I.D. that is 1.18 to 1.2ohms. These works great for me at 9-10W in wattage or TC mode. I'm loving these Mega's on a Pico in TC mode - instant heat and very smooth.

You're doing what I do when trying to figure out the wire. Perhaps since part of the legs is against metal, subtract that part. I will plug Nichrome in steam engine when I have time. I've never tried twisted and just started playing with SS in power mode. I also use the wire tab in steam engine that lets you put in the spacing for spaced coils.
My first new CLR coil was squirrely, resistance changing and the coil is pulled to one side. Put in a new coil and it's stable at 1.0 ohms and vaping well.

I have had a couple like that and I always just recoil and rewick so that I can be sure there would be no shorts.

Yep I put it aside and I'm going to do just that. :) I might even try SS or N80 in it, at 2 to 2.5 mm 6 wraps spaced.
Update: My Amor tank came in from Totally Wicked today. :) It will probably be a week or so before I try that one as I give the Ego One V2 a good workout.
