DPL did a superb job on an black Eggie (not a Tron tho) with a Scotch Brite scouring pad.
Yup, I saw that. That's why I was wondering if anybody has tried doing it with a Tron-S. I don't have one of those V2 tanks so I don't know what kind of finish is on them. The Trons have a powder coat type finish - the spots where it's chipped are white underneath. Just wondering how easy it's going to be to remove it or if I'll end up with something that's going to look really crappy.
My next run with an Eggie will be without scratching up the glass in the process. Patience isn't always one of my virtues.
From what I can see, it wouldn't be nearly as easy with the Trons (very different paint, as you pointed out). Sorry. :-(
Nice tanks. I like it the fact that it's quieter than the Eggies, but find that's because the AFC, while offering the same distance between A & Z, also carries a different "range" or "frequency" (I can't think of the correct terminology right now). Point being that I like it, but it won't knock the Eggrolls out of my top spot.
Trying to see how much juice remains is borderline absurd. With no back-lighting, my only option is to hold tank off to right, while light is on left (or vice versa). Talk about having to be a contortionist - jeez! A simple slit along the bottom (above the AFC maybe) would have resolved this.
It's fine, but could have been done better. The vape it great - intersecting with the Eggies but lower air (on the low end), and not as much air (on the high end). Ultimately it gets a strong Thumps Up from me (all things considered).
Kat's got a "S" on the way, and I'm interested to see how that one does. I may prefer it simply for the windows.

They're pretty good, but you can't really see the very bottom of the tank through the window so when you get close to empty you have to tilt the tank and look up. Tank seems extra light though, which is nice.
I find the view acceptable enough but the chippies are bugging me. Instead of trying to strip mine I'm gonna bling it up completely with rhinestones (someday, when I find time!).
You'll prolly have yours washed and up and running WAY before I do, so let ME know?
I like light, Jumpin'. But the teensy window tanks have always made me krazed and flusterated. I'm hoping I can deal with this one. I'll be tiltin', I promise!

Some time ago I got an eVic mini with Ego One Mega v1 tank for super cheap ($16 plus shipping from efun). Then I ordered the CLR coils from Fasttech, and a mere 6 weeks and 4 days later finally received them! Today! So I've been vaping the Mega v1 today with CLR heads, and I like it! I'd like to get a couple more tanks to use with these coils. I'd like to get a black one to use with my Jac. (the sale one I got is Cyan. of course. no way that looks pretty on my Jac.)
My local Joyetech distributor has the Tron-T available (apparently, though it breaks TPD rules with a 4 ml capacity) for 19€, and Ego One v2 2ml tanks for 16€. I'm considering the Tron-T just because of the 4 ml tank, but I'm not sure about the air flow. I like a pretty airy vape, using the largest air flow on the Nautilus Mini, half open on the Goblin, 2/3 open on the Doggystyle, to give you an idea. Most of my KFM 3 clones are okay as they come; I've adjusted a couple to add more air.
Will the Tron-T be too restricted for me? Does it work as well as the Ego One Mega v1? (also not too happy to hear about the chipping issue)
I'm not really seeing options for the Ego One at fasttech. At Heaven Gifts, I can get a couple of Mega V2 tanks for $15 each (including shipping). Maybe there are better deals elsewhere? Maybe I should just get the smaller version locally and skip the weeks of waiting.
Also, I'd like to ask about that Wismec Amor. How is it? It works with the CLR coils, right? I like the way it looks; how does it vape? And where does one acquire it?

I have them ALL and can't say the air flow is any diff between any of them (all about the same)
Yes , the AMOR uses the CLR coils (2.5ml)
hate to say it, but it looks like Joye is fazing out the eGo ONE tanks -- I say this because all the vendors inventory is almost OUT !
maybe Joye will tool up and start producing more and fill shelves again, but whos to say

Sadly, US stuff is not possible; crazzzzy expensive shipping to the EU, and customs here really gives US stuff a VERY THOROUGH LOOKING AT INDEED. (Like, I shouldn't be buying anything vape related from outside of the country since TPD with extra add-on regulations here, but I think that it's not being *strictly* enforced at this point anyway. Stuff from EU or Asia can slip by. US / N America, no way.
(a few years ago a US friend sent me their old iPad when they got a new one. Customs would not believe that it was not new (because it was too clean), and I had to pay over 200€ to get them to release it to me. ackk!)
