It's not smaller but it IS lighter, slightly shorter, and it's a heckuva buy at that price. I trust @oplholik 's judgment, so I've no doubt it's a great mod.

At that price, it's probably worth the look, eh? ;)

Enablers, we!

Here's how it stacks up size & weight wise against the JAC and VT75n. I don't know if this is of any value, but just in case it is >

LET US KNOW HOW YOU LIKE IT! :smokie:

Huh. So remember I said I wasn't getting as much flavor with the Amor as I was with the Eggrolls*? Well today I have it on a Provari Mini, and the flavor is like oohlala! I don't know why! Wicking difference? It does better with higher ohms? I don't know, but it just loves the Mini, like love at first site, happily ever after. I hope it persists! I've ordered another one for my other Mini, because fair is fair, and jealousy among mods is not pretty.

* Eggrolls=Ego One tanks, for anyone who might be confused, as I was for quite a while there.

That smooth ProVari power makes a difference for me on a number of toppers. The only equivalent smoothness with higher resistance setups (1.5+) that I've found is later DNA chipsets, 40 and up, that can get down to lower wattages. Enjoy that mini!

Have the K1 but would like one a little less hefty in weight to carry around.

Your post reminded me that I have 2 Kanger K1 Box Mods...that I bought for $20 itch from a sale posted here...sitting unused on a shelf...

On the first one the fire button quit working after 3-4 days. The second one's FB quit working after 2-3 days. (Both FB's still "click"...they just don't "fire")

Primarily because I'm unbelievably lazy...(but also because they were cheap, they were big and heavy and I have a good number of other Mods to use )...I never looked into returning them...

Before I toss them into the trash...anybody have any thoughts on what might be a "fix" I can try on them???

I had a sticky fire button on one of mine. I opened it up, removed the button and filed the edges smooth. I also touched the rear insides if the hole with a file. After reassembly, it works fine. Still heavy buy a good desk side mod. It is heavy for out and about usage.

That is terrible news. I would most assuredly return those lemons quickly.

Can you do surface mount soldering? If not is the return window closed?

No...Yes...

I'm thinkin'...$46 for 2 K1's + ship = 6.5 packs of analogs = 4 days of ashes in my ol' ashtrays..

They worked for 4-5 days...(and my body felt MUCH better than after "producing" 4 days of ashes in my smoking days)...

So sorry... I almost got one, but, I don't need any more mods--for the time being...

That is definitely cheap...But the reviews on the site aren't exactly glowing.
Apparently the first run of those had all kinds of problems that I fail to recall. I have one of the later ones that works well but the 510 connection worked it's way out from the top. I took it apart and made an ugly job of applying JB weld to fix it. Still works now.
