Happy Labor Day all!!
I'm about to do my first re-wicking, but I'm nervous because this coils is working great! LOL

ya know what, Who Cares

just rebuild it and if it goes foul on ya Just try again...:)

wire is cheap, and it is not hard work, so just build build build... :D

then laff at yourself for holding off for so long (we all did)

you've read the technique, know the wire size, amount of wraps, I.D. , just don't allow it to touch anything

as long as you stay inside these guide-lines no harm will come to you or your family & friends   :D  :p

good luck and be sure to let us know

I have learned thru out the years its not the tank (my case) but rather the e-liquid i make as with several
different tanks used.
Example DID tank with mesh coil in hot car i would give little vapor and or juice in mouth never leaked though as airhole is tiny and in topcap facing ss coil.

Phoenix clearo leaked and juice in mouth in heat left in car.

Mega tank leak out bottom airhole and vape was poor in car hen left in heat.
Now i would hold mega tank up to air conditioning vent to cool it down and would be just fine.

As a note the e-liquid i make is 92%pg 8%vg so it is very thin .

What i do as poster mention is take my device which fits in pocket (pico) into where i go and its fine.
My problem solved.

we deal with the heat all the time so one needs to adapt a plan...

mine is like has been said, Don't leave it in the car

but if extended travel time is nessasary, almost always carry a cooler with us, so proper equipment
comes into play...

My Batmobile is in the shop. Guess I'll have to pick up a little cooler.

Finally got around to trying SS316L in a CLR on my Tron. Very stable in TCR mode so far. Did 8 spaced wraps of 28 gauge SS316L on 2.5mm rod which came in at roughly .85 Ohm. Popped like crazy for the first 1/2 tank, but has settled a bit now - probably not enough cotton. Great flavor, but might actually be a little too much vapor for me, so I may try fewer wraps on the next rebuild (which could be weeks away - heh). I'll try stuffing in a little more cotton first.
