@Dieseler - so is your ' modification ' to your tank still performing as you like... ? ;)

It is went through several tank refills and performing the same so im very happy with it.
Have 4 of them now with 2 in rotation and stashed the others.

Edit to add i looked around to find some of the rba heads to stash and found site oversea's
(never ordered from them) thats sells them in 5 pk for 6.05 i bought 10 of the 5 packs price was then 5.24 each ,shipping was 6.24 .
Fifty total coil heads for total cost 58.79.
Other cheapest i could find was little over 10 dollars a 5 pk
Fifty total coil heads for total cost 58.79 so im set with those.

The coil heads are a solid metal as i took a file to one of the Tc heads and all i see is a silver color they seem very durable.

Joyetech CLR'S
The best price i did get after talking with someone at fastech last month for 100 CLR coilheads was 7.48 a 5 pk. the last time i placed an order for them as i have bought more prior.

Silly question but why buy an Amor? Why not just get another 2ml v2 egoOne?

Hi Fran, naw not silly question .
The 2ml tanks do not last long enough but my wife currently uses them that i gave her.
Long story - lol

See Joyetech started out with that small window on there tank then after what i guess many complaints they started coming out with larger windows.
We bought then started buying the mega tanks for more capacity, i then started getting megav2 tanks as
personally i like them a lot and found a place that had them for 10.95 a few cents less with discount and have a nice stash of them.

But wanted a top fill tank as i used to be and still once in a while a genesis user with a MMvapors DID so easy to fill.
I then saw a Italian fella Pedro making tank that was topfill called the Genoa tank and it was made for
the Joyetech CLR coils and Cl coil heads. But its over 150.00 not including shipping .
Almost bought it figure i get 1 .

In searching the internet i saw the Wismec amor tank takes clr coils but saw that it was not a topfill
so i did not purchase it.
Then saw the wismec amor plus a topfill tank 3.8 ml capacity but it did not take clr coils so i figure by one try it if i like it i can buy a stash of coil heads a few more of the same tanks .

Well i did not like it because it was to darn airy and saw that the bottom pin hole (huge) in the coil head was the reason and tried several things to make it to my likeing, upon doing this i had a clr coiil head on my desk with the other things i was trying and said if i could get that clr pin to fit inside the wismec coil head it may work after all i enjoy the airflow and taste of the vape useing the clr coil.

So i just took the pin and its silicone insulator and stuck it into the bottom insulator of the wismec head
and it fit very well no slop !
But the very bottom portion of clr pin where it contacts the base is
shaped different and was not sure it would fire along with an extra insulator would it work properly?

It worked and worked just like i was vaping with the clr coil i was thrilled.
But would it continue to work properly and now after going through enough full tanks fulls it still the same.

So now i have 2 different types of tanks one bottom fill one topfill along with 2 different types of coil heads.
A lifetime supply of each along with lifetime supply of everything else and very happy.

Glad i started DIY years back when the scubabatdan experimented with his genny tank and bought one that taught me a lot about genesis tanks and how to make a ss coil and what it involves.

In the end the 4 wismec amor plus tanks a stash of coil heads cost less than that Genoa tank
just buy it self.

Just went looking for a black tank, and stopped by VapeShop.com, and they have the ego one v2 for $9.95. That seems to be a good price for them. How does the paint hold up on them? Don't remember if I've asked that here yet.

It holds up just fine except when it hits the concrete. Just did it today. It just chips a bit like car paint.

surprises me that the tank finish holds up VERY WELL

and I've also heard, that a drop only allows a chip , of sorts (at least what I'VE heard)
Like I said, just like a car. When you get a stone headed toward you at a hundred miles an hour, it leaves a good chip.

Yes hate when that happens .
One time years back driving down 1 particular street i saw a golf ball bouncing all of a sudden on the street before i could react it hit plastic grill on the ole jeep and cracked a piece no big a deal it was an old beater anyways.
Theres a golf course on one side and its a 40 mile speed limit , bet some folks may have had worse.

Wismec amor is a bottom fill tank takes 2.5m of e-liquid and accepts joyetech clr coilheads i never tried this tank .

Wismec amor plus is a top fill tank takes 3.8ml of e-liquid does not take Joyetech clr coils

only thing I could add is that it took a third company to make the Amor (Joye eGo ONE//eLeaf GS air//Wismec Amor)
to me the AMOR is the GS air with a factory CLR coil... :w00t:
upload_2016-10-10_16-48-21-png.605689
then the more deluxe tank, the PLUS; to me is more like an Aspire style and . . .

Thanx Dies and pufZ for the clarification...so...

AMOR...2.5ml. :nah:...Bottom Fill :nah:...CLR coils :headbang:...

AMOR PLUS...3.8ml. :headbang:...Top Fill :headbang:...NO CLR coils :nah:...

If it weren't for the FDA Dooming...I could just relax and wait for Joyetech to come out with an "eGo ONE Mega V Three Tank"...big windows, 4ml, Top Fill and CLR coils...

..

So I am bless’d with many 18650 devices, but yet I still have several
internal battery units that I need to use-up till the battery depletes...

a favorite of mine is the ~istick TC40w~
I bought it for my wife some time ago but it has been retired due to 18650’s
price/size/features (((IMO))) close to the most perfect ‘lil box mod
upload_2016-10-14_0-37-48.png

so got it out & installed a 2nd gen eGo ONE 2ml tank and `wow` how perfect is that ?
