Hello there, Puff! About that CLR Ti coil, what's the size of the air hole there? I'm still finding that the 1.8 mm is a just a tad too tight, whereas the 3.5 is way too much for me (that's the regular CLR coils). I'm trying to find an in-between size, if it exists.

Thanks!

I used to swing that way, then became accustomed to the 3.5mm air passage

but to get me there this was a trick I did for awhile {guessin 2.3mm}

:D

I like 2-2.4 mm diameters. I know, I'm difficult. I even wrote to joyetech about that, that said they would pass my comments to their engineers. I'm still waiting.

And the CLR Ti is what size? Big? Small?

BOTH Ti come with 3.5mm

here's the whole family (as far as I know)

only two air passages (1.8 & 3.5)

I was like as you said, 1.8 not enuff / 3.5 too much
so I stuck the kanger insulator inside the 3.5 and it bridged me
until I just got used to the draw of the 3.5mm opening...

IF you OVERSTUFF the wire/wick assembly with wick material it slows air draw - IMO

a/my simulation of how the 'blocking of air passage might work - IMO

I have several of the 'stock' 1.8mm laying around and try one sometimes
Way TO TIGHT, 3.5 just worx for me now...

Received a couple of the Ego One tanks with some 1.0 CLR coils. Immediately pulled the cotton and put in rayon.
Very nice vape! Just a little better than my recoiled GS Air coils. (Don't tell anyone I said that!)
I have been intrigued with the design of this coil for some time, finally pulled the trigger.
Might try some TI coils and take a walk on the wild side!

hey now, WOW ! glad to hear ya tried one and you're liking it... !

I REALLY think them to be perfect for what and how I vape
pretty nice tank for a good price then add the CLR coil and it all comes together nicely

haha, I just bought a few more & now have several tanks (various) :w00t:

just to stock up and have some ;
be sure to get and try the 'big-hole' pin style ones
the bigger 3.5mm gold center pin makes the tank come alive-IMO

over time I've figured the tanks that have a loose air flow ring allow seepage (tight ones never do)
so now I don't play (move afc ring back-n-forth) like I used to do...
once I see one start to seep, remove tank (wipe off) blow thru one side to clear condensation
replace and back in service in no time...
that is the only small flaw I see in the eGo ONE tanks

SS wire, 3.5mm center pin, rayon, .8Ω - 1.4Ω
now you can dance around in TEMP CONTROL SS or just Watts with same coil
open close afc ring - put it all together and it is quite the versatile, do all tank combo

it's our little secret :2cool:

You're so busted, Cheech...

"... stainless steel atomizer with large capacity, which ensures whole day's shipping."

Carry on!

Well ,the real story is Cheech is very gracious

Here is an excerpt from email we exchanged…

so that's the real behind the scenes story (I'm sticking to it)

- - -

"stainless steel atomizer with large capacity, which ensures whole day's shipping"
that's about how long it took to ship
in about 20 hours it went from Shenzhen, China to Cincinnati, Oh (unreal !)
shipping is kinda steep, but with that fast service, hmmmm...

Too much air flow for my tootle puffer ways. the 1.0 pins seem just right for me without having to
shut down the AFC at all. I tried the .5 Ti TC coils...not a TC fan.

Amazon Prime keeps me entertained.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooo O.K. gotcha

I find with TC - turn Watts down to CLOSE to where you like non TC 25, 30, 35, 41
I wasn't happy with the fast ramp up and extreme TEMP (50w, 60w, 75w)

another is these newer ones (control chips) allow > 1.0Ω (old didn't) so you can use say; SS @ 1.4Ω in BOTH TC and W

eg: I gotts now a SS @ 1.38Ω~28w~430° (switch to watts it is 12.5w)

there SO MANY parameters you can dial up with TC so don't sell it short because of lack of adventure
to just bump your temp ▲▼(cool/heat your vapor) but still maintain atomization (w)
then not forget NO burnt wicks or hits...

roll like a big dog
