Okay, so I got my ego one v2 loaded up (with 1 ohm clr coil) with some bubble gum juice and it's okay so far.
The flavor seems to get better the more I use it.
Guess I'm gonna have to send the wife to get some rayon from what I have read so far.
I'm liking it, but not in love yet.
How often do you usually rewick? As in ml's

ok was gonna ask if any luck with missing vape-mail... :(

Nope, and I'm assuming I'll have to jump through all sorts of hoops to find it or get reimbursed. I must have a vaping neighbor

Hey guys!

I've been following this thread for a while now. I have two mega's and when I bought them I also bought a whack of 0.5ohm CL coils. I've finally worked my way through them and just started on the CLR's (also 0.5's).

Is it just me or is the factory wicking terrible in these? I burned my first wick in less than half a tank. I haven't rewicked that one yet but I will use rayon when I do.

Should I just go ahead and tear the factory wicks out before I even use these or what?

No need Kat.
You answered my question with that post.
As others have posted, I'm finding the occ not my fav.
But it is all I have on hand.
It does improve the more I vape it!
I will be trying to rewick with rayon in the future.

I love rayon!! I only use cotton when I need a smooth, uniform surface to wrap ( for vertical coils for the ego aio )

Seems to me it usually takes about half a tank for a new coil to get rolling. By the end of the tank, it starts to hit home. I usually only re-wick if I change flavors or if I notice the flavor seems to be getting a bit tired, which is rare and probably in my imagination.

Thanks Mike!
I kept reading that here in the previous posts, I just didn't believe the difference it really was!
I am impressed with this tank now!!!

It's up to you. I take the factory build out and install my own before using.
Okay, thanks! I figured that's what I might have to do. I was just hoping they would be decently wicked right out of the box but nooooooooo.

I have a lifetime supply of rayon here so no matter. :)

Do they make rayon in pad form? If so, I'll be 100% rayon!

For me a new coil and wick hits a bit harsh at first. To help solve that, I soak the coil and wick with the juice, fire it a few times, then repeat a couple times. From then on it's ok.
Great advice. I learned to do that while watching a video to solve wicking problems I was having with my Kayfuns. It's especially good to do that is you use cotton and want to cut down on the "cottony" taste you can get with a new wick. It even makes rayon start out vaping better.

Question for you folks: I've been dry burning the coil when I change wicks. It occurs to me I'm probably damaging the insulators, though I haven't noticed any damage. If you don't dry burn, do you just try to wipe them down and get the gunk off?

If my coil looks gunky I change to a newly built head.
