You're not @ 4.2 v. More like 3.8 (with your 1Ω coil), ~13 watts. That battery is regulated--sort of. Rebuilding your coil at higher resistance won't do you any good, because the chip chooses the wattage for you--whether you like it or not.

yepper, those eGo ONE (the one for everyone) is what started this thread...

the battery maintains its output till it runs out of power (regulated)
the power applied is determined by the 'chip' reading the coil attached (as seen by our buddy Phil's chart below)
side note: the newer V2 has (2) modes where, by button clicks, you can set it to Regulated or Unregulated modes...

Most of us here ordered the kit for the atty only. The kit is cheaper than an eGo One Mega tank on sale anywhere else. I have no use for that battery whatsoever--I like to choose my own power level, just like you.

At that time, yes I was. I've since tried two Mega V2's with a 1.7Ω coil, and they are also much more vape able.

I just got a Mega and I am finding that I like the smaller size V2! I haven't loaded the Mega up yet but I put it on the Pico and I prefer the smaller tank! Looks like the Mega will go in the Vape Apocalypse box for now!
Plus I got the black Mega to go on the black Pico that I don't have yet! But I will be ready!
