The two I ordered came in a nice little Christmas wrapper. :)
Santa must be subcontracting the Elves out to China. :D

These premade SS coils from FT should be a good fit for the CLR coils. 1.3 ohm so maybe better for power than TC. Ordered and waiting to see if they are any good. For $3.49 per hundred they are pretty much as cheap as wire.

Dimensions are 3.2 mm depth and 3.5 mm width so the id should be 2.6 mm. Should be a nice fit.
$3.49 E-XY 316L Stainless Steel Pre-coiled Coil (100-Pack) - 28 AWG / 0.32mm dia. / 1.3ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
You could also pull off a few wraps and stretch the coil to create a spaced coil for use with TC. It would be easy if you have a mandrel of suitable diameter.

Donated all my GS Air tanks and coils some time ago.
I still remember trying to crack the code of recoiling those Air coils.
Tracking down a suitable liner material and then shipping the stuff out to folks that couldn't source it locally. :)
Goodness, what we went through deciphering that Rosetta Stone!

I am still plugging away with the GSs and Airs. Hard to fix something that ain't broke.

I would like to go ahead and transition over to the Egg rolls but I've always come in too late on the really hot sales. :( So far anyway. No biggie. I made a comment on another thread that all I've spent vape money this year on has been juice. The only new tanks/stuff I've gotten this year were via a Trade on ECF. I think I may have ordered a $4 roll of wire from Lightning Vapes...

Still using some of the goodies he sent me and knowledge of the Cheechman. And still very thankful for that.

Agreed. I always have a GS Air tank on my iStick or Pico for out and about. But I gave up on rebuilding--too much work for me. As soon as I run out of GS coils, I'll probably retire my GS tanks. Eggrolls are so much easier to rebuild...

When you're ready and find a good sale, go for it. You can thank me later.

HI stranger!

Shawnster, when you put that jiggering into simplistic/newbie lingo, let me know and I'll add it to my list of tanks that take CLRs, k?

(welcome home, dude)

The center pin needed to be pulled out just about a half millimeter to ensure contact in the base of the tank.

Geez... are you telling me you aren't fluent in hillbilly?

Good to be back... I have been lurking, but haven't had anything wondrous to share either here or the TP thread... Maybe a bit more now.

What IS the tank called, please?

Welcome to MY (lurky/nothing much to share) world. Ch-ch-ch-changes. ;)

The tank does not appear to have a name of its own. It's just the Kamry K1000 Plus tank.

And, you can leave it there... on your list, and it does work with the K1000 Plus mod, but I can't get the %^$*^$^*&^80 thing to read on an ohm meter... The pos pin is wonky, so maybe not so much...
