I'm a newby to this and have read a lot of the comments on this forum and it seems that the Halo G6 and the eGo are the best so far. Could someone please steer me in the right direction?

Also, I'm confused on the eliquids. Do you buy these empty and fill with your own liquid?

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer on my questions.

An ego (510) and the Halo pv (KR808) are both very popular brands of pv.

One is more of a mini, the halo has a smaller battery, more the size of a cigarette. Ego larger battery, more like a sharpie than a cigarette.

Pros of KR808- (halo, V4L, Volt) Small, most like a cigarette.
Cons- Shorter battery life (1 hour per 100 mah), more expensive - need more batteries, or charge case.

Pros of an Ego- (Joye, Riva Kgo, Igo) - long battery life, 7+ hours. Versatile, can use tanks, atty, low resistance cartos etc.
Cons- doesn't look like a cigarette

Both are very good, just depends on your smoke habits and life style. You can purchase blank cartomizers and fill them yourself, or purchase prefilled. More prefilled are avaliable with the KR808.

I don't think you'll be unhappy with either one. It really depends on your smoking habits. If you don't have access to a charger or your unable to change batteries, go for the ego. You can pick one up at Liberty Flights for $30. If you want something smaller and think it'll be easier to adapt, try the KR808. Lots of good feedback on the Kr808 from Halo.

Or get both! You probably will anyway, we all do! But get one and start vaping! You won't be sorry.

Halocigs G6, SmokelessImage Volt, Bloogplanet maxxfusion are all the same thing - I think they are all rubberized, manuals have a small partially recessed button, manual threaded end looks totally sealed, 40mah extra charge for each size vs those below, but a short 5 second cutoff (max length of drag or button press). 3.6v

Vapor4Life is the original style but with a custom 10-13 second cutoff, at least on the current single logo batteries (gold button) as noted in their description. if you think you will want long drags, buy these. 3.7v

Then there is the original black or white or steel manufacturer model, 5 second cutoff, 3.7v

All of these can use each others cartos.

Ego is something totally different - 510 threaded, less voltage than the above (3.4v), more charge, almost no prefilled cartomizers available vs the KR808D-1 models above which have lots of prefilled cartos.

My recommendation instead of Ego is the Riva 510 kits at Liberty-Flights.com because the kits there are all 3.7v. I put an adapter on (510 to 808) and vape KR808D-1 cartos on them too. And I use blank 510 cartos, and atomizer + drip tip to test juices. Not all Rivas are 3.7v - only the latest stock from one manufacturer is. At Liberty-Flights press the 20% off upper left front page and then shop at the lowered prices.

Just decide which you want first :)

(because almost all vapers end up with more than one model)
