Ok...I've had the Ego for a few weeks and I like it. However, I'm interested in experimenting and trying different things. With that in mind, does the Janty Stick offer a similar experience...or is it unique enough in it's own right that I should give ita try?

It's an 801 attie - or a 302, to be precise, and that makes it very different. Personally, I'm not fond of any 801, never managed to get much taste out of them, but they do have lots of fans. Another drawback is the battery, the stick batteries have like 300mAh, less than half of that of an eGo.
However, there is by now almost a dozen different atties that fit natively onto an eGo, and that's not even counting cotton cartos. Enough to experiement for a while, too, I should say.

If you want a Janty Stick because you wanted a small fairly cheap box mod with a USB charger build in - I would order a Bartleby from Cybervex instead - it is about the size of a Janty Stick takes one 14500 Li-Ion battery and has a 510 connection. Cybervex does extremely good work on these and a 14500 which is 750mAh will last over twice as long as a stick without needing to be plugged in - he sales them with 2 protected batteries for $50.
If you want to try different attys out - get adapters and then you can use all type attys on your ego - good prophets sales them for just $.99 each and he has them that will let 510 batteries fit 808/901, 801, rn4081 and 401 atomizers or cartomizers

+1 for using your ego as a base to experiment. I'm very satisfied with 510 attys and E2 cartos for now, But in the future I'm going to experiment some more. One of these days I'm going to check out the mod shown in this video. At around 30 drops and easy to refill, this may become my out-and-about solution.
