I know that it mean it needs to be charged, or something. but I haven't had it off the cable for very long. I was trying to dry out one of my LR atty's so I could try out a new flavor .. and then the blinking light happened! I'm leaving it on the cable right now without touching it, but I was wondering ..

What's the problem? Has anyone ever had this problem before? I hope I didn't break it already. Oi ..

Could be

1. you got liquid in the threaded connection of the battery and it is shorting
2. battery part is out of charge - if you were vaping it all the time when it was connected it may have charged little
3. you dragged too long (if auto) or held the button down too long (manual) uninterrupted, and triggered the safety shutoff
3. Your carto or atty is bad and shorting

I think its the pass throughs are faulty. I've owned 3 passthroughs now. 1 inferno, lasted 1 month then started blinking only when an atomizer or cartomizer was attached and the button was pushed. Got Volcano ecigs to swap it out (good customer service) then the second one lasted a month and did the same thing. I liked the concept of usb built in so I bought an ego passthrough 1 month ago, and I just ran across this thread trying to figure out why my ego passthrough is now doing the same thing. I'm done with this style unit. Gonna get an ego.

Funny, I just got my Volcano Inferno yesterday and my pass through will not work. The minute you screw anything into battery the light just blinks 3 times. I called them and their customer service was very rude. They are gonna send me another battery, but after I read this post I doubt it will matter. She tried to tell me it must of got damaged during shipping. I am so sorry I bought the inferno. I am thinking of getting an Go Go or E-GO

well, I thought it was only fair to do a follow up post. Although my two infernos shorted out or something and I could never get them working again, the ego passthrough, which shorted out on me the other day, is now working again. If it starts blinking before its dead, i just bang the usb end into my other palm a few times, and waaalaaa, it works again. Must do this 2 or 3 times daily. Whateva works!

I'm sorry to bring this up, but could you please use punctuation, capital letters where needed and proper words instead of "text speak"? Your post is difficult to read and makes you look less intelligent than I'm sure you are.

Thank you in advance.
