I've got it apart. I cut/break away the plastic part surrounding the USB port using a nipper. And pull with force the battery out on the other side. I found there is a build-in metal barrier inside the tube between the USB port (and a tiny PCB board with circuit and LEDs on it) and the battery. The negative wire is soldered on it. One could not take all the two parts (USB port and battery) from one side of the tube without break the soldered wire. Of course, most of the soldered wire connections are broken by my operation, but it is easy to recognize the solder points. Thinking of removing the battery at all. Thanks anyway.
