Nope as a matter of fact it is 3.2V. The Ego passthru is a means of charging your battery while you are vaping. While you are vaping you are vaping off the batt and not the USB port.
If it makes you feel any better, unless you are plugged into the wall with a wall USB adapter, capable of at least 2A, you are not vaping 5V either. USB port do put out the voltage but not the current. many are 0.5A with the odd one capable of 1A. Sorry

thanks switched i figured as much , half the reviews say its a 5v passthrough though i didnt notice any different in vape iv never used a 5v though, i need to get one im hoping for an ali'i as soon as i can get an order in
i do really like this ego PT though its pretty great i like that it can be unplugged and used as a normal ego and with these 306 LR i just tried from jack i can see my vaping taking priority to my smoking now , im still smoking more than i vape so lets see if i can make the switch with these new babies
