eGo problem, new to dripping, getting juice on battery! Help me plz.... :(

I'm new to dripping, I just got an eGo. I'm loving it, but juice is leaking down into my battery. How can I prevent this? I've followed directions, I blew out the atty real good, then held the button down for a few seconds to make sure it was dry. I then put 3 drops on the atty. I get good vapor and flavor, and about 9 hits off of it. After dripping for a while, I started to notice juice inside the battery connector where the atty screws in. I know this can damage the battery. I really like dripping and would like to continue, but I don't want to ruin batteries. What should I do?

If you have a manual battery, it should be sealed, and therefore you don't need to worry about ruining it.

You maybe dripping too fast or using too much juice, use fewer drops per hits. Also tilt your atty so that it is higher than the mouth piece to let the juice run back into the atty. Your battery/pt should be sealed, just whip it down when you see/feel extra moisture. My biggest problem with the juice coming out is that it seems to head straight for my button.

That is why I, like many other vapers, do not recommend drip trip. It more inconvenient when driving a car.

I've been using 1 drop at a time and it's working really well. 1 drop gives me 5-7 huge puffs and then I have to redrip But I do use thick 100% VG juices.

If you have an Auto - don't drip.

If you're leaking you're using to much fluid. I use 100% PG -- very thin fluid. I use 2 drops when it's time to reload.

Like all things vape YMMV. Keep practicing your techniques --you'll perfect it. Dripping is worth it.

Auto battery = you can drip with it, but it is very tricky and not recommended if you are just starting to drip.

Manual battery = sealed and juice most likely will never touch your battery.

Manual battery = You may get juice on your activation switch / button. You don't want to do that.

Once you get your atty ready to go:
Thick juice = usually ok to add an extra drip
Thin juice = 2 drips is a good rule of thumb

Atty starts gurgling = flooded atty
I blow mine out when this happens.
Some people vape through the gurgles.
If atty is flooded, you might not experience the flavor or vapor you are used to. The atty is trying to heat up a whole bunch of juice and it may not be able to heat all that juice enough to provide you with optimum flavor & vapor.

You overcame getting your atty started and you will overcome this, like we all said if you have a manual, don't worry about it. dry it off and start over. Do be careful if it should happen to leak bad enough to protect your button. I have been known to wrap a paper towel around my button when I seemingly had become overly dripful.

Thank you all so much! I have a manual battery.
I believe my problems were using too much juice and holding the eGo battery down, for some reason I thought that was the way to hold it when dripping, now I know different. I heard gurgling every time I dripped!
Now I know:
Hold eGo horizontally, and try less juice.
I love dripping and thanks for the info! And thanks for the confidence in me, Hoppyy. So far I'm learning fairly quickly and I feel confident that I'll get this all figured out(with the help of ECF of course!).
