Its just that their is a friend of mine that I know I could get to using an e-cig if I could find her an auto style battery, but powerful enough to be able to use LR attys so theres more vapor.
Do they sell more powerful 510 batts for LR atty use?

auto ego:
Joye eGo Battery - Auto Black

Although with the eGo, since it's a bit heavier, there's really no reason to get an auto - highly suggest manual:
Joye eGo Battery - Black

ego charger is needed:
Joye eGo USB Charger

cone:
eGo atomizer cover

I'm not sure why you cant use a Low resistance atty with a 510......I did, seen other claim to...am I missing something?

There are mega 510 batteries, suppose to last 3-4 hours.

From my experience with both the eGo and the mega 510 batts, they both work very well with LR Attys. Your run time is reduced a bit, but other than that, no problems.

I guess I'm just confused what the mega batteries are. I'm no electronics expert so I thought they pump out more power, and LR attys need more power because they produce more vapor.

Or do they produce the same amount of vapor, but need the mega bat because they last longer and drain it faster?

It's all about voltage and ohms. The regular 510 battery and the mega batt put out about 3.1volts (even though they're considered a 3.7volt battery) The eGo operates by some measures a bit more than that. 3.2-3.4. True 3.7volt mods - protege, bartleby, provape run at @3.7 volts for several hours - 8+ ymmv.

The atomizer heats up by offering resistance (ohms)- much like a lightbulb filament. The lower the ohms the hotter that atomizer will run on the same voltage battery.

Without getting in the Ohm's law, basically you will get more performance (vapor) using LR atomizers on any of the above but you are more likely to burn out an LR atty on a true 3.7v batt or higher.

The other battery attribute is how long it will last - the 'mAh' or milliamps per hour and a regular manual 510 batt is 150-180mAh. The mega is 280mAh and the regular eGo batt is 651mAh. That translates approximately into about 1 1/2 hours for the 510, 3-4 hours for the mega and 6-6.5 hours for the eGo BUT if you're using an LR atty on any of those, those times will decrease.
