Personally, I like the blue LEDs just because they look pretty, and I'm easily amused by pretty, shiny things. > However, the Riva 510 manual I just purchased comes with no LED, and this makes me sad. I know it has no real functional purpose[other than maybe to let you know when it's active] but still, I'll miss it. Anyone know if/where they sell Rive/Ego style batteries with LEDs? Preferably a bright, shiny color!

Just to put the info out to you, SmokeStik has different led's w/ different crystals. They are a 4081 w/ prefilled cartos, so not for everyone.

Yeah, but a flashlight is more effective, and I can turn it off when I don't need it.
Good joke, I reckon, but the PV end tip LEDs just seem nonsensical to me. Always have.
None of my favorites have one.

No, honestly, I think you bring up a good point. I constantly use lighters and ciggie cherries to illuminate things in the dark. What am I gonna do when I stop smoking analogs completely and have no need to carry a lighter??? I don't bring a friggin' flashlight everywhere!
