This seems to be the only place i can post anything right now. So I have a question. I have an ego-t battery that i have been using multiple clearomizers on around the 1.8 ohm range. I recently switched over to Smoktech DCT V2 3.5 ml tanks and i have read on here from a couple people not to use dual coil because the egos cant handle them? I have not had any issues out of this at all and was wondering what the issue was and why it wouldnt handle it. It produces 3.3v and a 1.5 dct it shouldnt have any issues running the tank. I have good vapor and flavor out of them also. Just curious i may be over looking what there talking about.

It boils down to the amps you are pushing out of the battery. A single 1.5 Ohm drains an Ego quickly, think close to 1 amp if my math is right. Now with a Dual Coil, you are pushing twice as much amperage, 2 amps, the switch is rated at 2.5 amps before overload. Another downside is pushing that much power regularly, shortens the life of that battery as you are recharging it far more often.

Ok that makes sense.,., so what battery would you guys suggest as far as a portable battery in the 900-1100mah battery that would work good as far as amp. Or should i just stick to the clearmoizers for the ego's. I really like the smaller tanks as far as portability with the size of the ego i have. I also have a LavaTube and thinking of purchasing a evic system.

The LavaTube and Evic should readily handle the DCT way better due to their modular design. Don't know much about the LavaTube if it VV or VW, but it has a lot more safety features in it I believe, but the Evic will definitely push that DCT where it rocks properly with plenty of safety and more amp limit than an Ego

Get yourself one of these E-Power units. I got one the other day and its no more ego batteries for me. The unit is about 3/4 inches taller than a 650 battery.
Its not as intrusive as a massive mod but can be taken to work. It looks like a little fatter, taller and heavier than a ego battery cause you stick a 18650 battery into it. I can vape all day on it without having to carry extra batteries around and can handle the more power required for some atties to perform properly.
I'm very happy with this Epower and it doesn't cost much more than a regular skinny ego battery but with much better vaping potential and no odd looks from people when they see you vaping one of those crazy looking mods.
