Ego Riva 650mAh vs. 1100mAh

Quick newb question. Are there any disadvantages to going with an with Ego Riva (3.7v) 1100mAh vs. 650 mAh?

I'm assuming the 1100mAh means better vapor production, but will this limit my carto options? I'm not really sure what attributes the mAh value carries. Please advise.

mAh is generally the amount of charge the battery holds. The 1100 mAh will have 80% longer battery life before recharging than the 650mAh. The 1100 will take longer to charge so if you don't have something else, you'll be waiting a while to vape when it's out of power.

The 650mah and 1100mah use the same equipment. The only difference is that the 1100mah batteries last longer on a charge. I switched to the 1100's shortly after starting on the Ego and haven't looked back. I'm a heavy vapor and I can get well over 12 hrs on a charge.

The only difference is the capacity and the size of the battery. The 1100 mAh is about 1 inch longer IIRC, and it should liast 4-5 hours longer than the 650 for an average vapor. The same cartos that would work on a 650 will also work on an 1100. Vapor production should be the same for any given carto.

nodita, mAh= milli-amp-hour and is an indicator of how long the battery will last during use. So the 1100 will last approximately 11 hours under normal usage. Both of the bats you are looking at will take the same 510 threaded cartos, attys and so forth. I hope that helps, and good luck with your new purchase.

So many pros and cons to weighs...

Longer battery life is a good thing. Considering there are two batteries on rotation (so I'll have a backup charged batt), plus my 510, I figure I should be ok if one batt dies or I need a quick charge. 80% longer battery life is worth the extra $5...

The choice is clear. Thanks for the input.

My problem with the longer batteries is pocketability, the 1100 seems awkward in my pocket. I carry 2 eGo 650 PV's with me since I chain vape and heat up the attys. After 6 months the batts I carry, still last all day without a problem.
