eGo/Riva/etc case

So I'm looking at the eGo zipper case thinking, really? $12.95-14.95 for that thing? It dawns on me I can probably find a Gameboy case with a mesh liner that would do the trick for less. Hey, right now I want all my money to end up under the xmas tree for my kids, call me cheap.

Here's what I found. Not sure if links are allowed by new members, so go to caselogic DOT com and check out the Sony PSP case.

$6 and looks like it would do the trick nicely. What do you think?

Looks good, I'm using an old Oakley hardcase for a pair of glasses my dog ate. No webbing in it but roomy enough for a couple batterys and carto's, I'll figure out how to mod it to hold stuff in place.

Nintendo DS cases use to be smaller than PSP cases and it may hold a disassembled eGo with some extras. Have you considered them?

I'm looking for a case to hold an assembled eGo in my pants pocket. Better if it has enough room to hold a 5ml bottle. Have you seen something like this?

i have a psp case purched for a game store and it can hold quite alot of stuff.
top compartment has 3 small pockets of mesh that can hold at least a 5ml bottle each
then there is a divider that has more of the mesh and that can hold carts and attys in plenty
and the bottom compartment can hold at least 4 ego/tornado fully assembled
and on the back there is a clip for putting it on your belt/pants

Keep looking because I have seen that eGo case for $9.95 on several suppliers sites.

I love cases of all sorts and have tried everything from glasses cases, lowepro cases, pelican cases, psp cases, etc.

The eGo case is the best.

It is small enough to carry in a bag/pocket/purse and holds a fully assembled eGo 900mAh with 510 mega atty/cart with a couple juices, extra batt and atty. The eGo as described just fits.
It is study, well-designed, semi-hard, rounded corners, and with a quality zipper.
I got one in a trade and was pondering the same question you have and searching all somewhat cheaper alternatives.
After using this for a few weeks, I would pay full-price for one, it's that good.

I love my eGo case. I put 6-6ml bottles in it with carts and 4 cartomizers and/or 2 eGo mega atty/carts. I actually have my eGo's on lanyards for easy access. My co-workers think they are markers.....hehehe

I also have a case logic camera case that holds my 510 pcc, 510 batteries and other spare attys & carts. The camera case has a clip ring on it so it can hook onto a purse strap or belt loop.

You know what works really good. The little aluminum cases that are for bifocals.....Mine holds an assembled eGo, a small 3ml bottle of juice, and an extra carto or cart depending on what I'm using. And it is only 5"x1"

Thanks for posting the link to that site Suzamme, they have something I was scouring the web for and couldn't find! Cuban cigar flavoring! Clouds of Vapor also carries the ego case in that same price range $9.99 I think. We're gonna be getting a riva or a ego sometime soon so I am wanting to snag a case for hubby too.
