:confused:hello all!
Ive been vaping for about 5 months now and been having an overall good experience.

Anyways Ive found that my favorite method is a bridgeless atty and direct dripping. Heres my problem...Some attys seem to work like a champ, to much liqiud and I can vape with it still np. And then other attys seem to not perform well at all. Keep in mind they are both clean as a whistle and still one atty takes longer for the coil to light up and if it even comes close to getting to much liquid well then it sucks. I have been using 510 mega batts (280 mah).

Ok here are my questions...

1. Considering both attys are clean and dry out the gate whats causing one to perform well and the other not to? Is it Ohms? I know some are a little one way and others the other even in the same order sometimes...Do Ohms effect burn etc?

2. Will Lr attys perform better then since the ohms are different...will they warm up quicker etc?

3. If so Im looking to purchase maybe an Ego or Riva so I can use the LR attys...Why is the Riva so much cheaper? Not as well made? What one would be best? Does the Riva use 510 accesories?

4. Id like to debridge the LR attys if possible...Is this ok to do?

5. If I bought an ego I would go to Cignot cause they have never let me down...Where is the best place to purchase a Riva?

6. Have I been a pain? Lol is so im sorry and thank you in advance for any help :D

Hey spills,
heres some insight from my knowledge board:

1) attys vary unless they are from a tried and true supplier. ohms does make a big difference .1-.2 can put you into a different wattage range. which changes taste, TH, and vapor production. ohm will effect the burn is when your vaping out of the recommended range for that battery voltage.
2)since you are using a 3.4v device. LR is the way to go if you want the vapor to be warmer and more robust. they do warm up quicker because they are lower resistance but not too much. depends on how low of an ohm atty you get. cisco LR's (esp. the 306) at 3.7v is the best it gets when you venture into LR. but since you only have the small 510 battery im not sure its recommended. i think it has to be atleast 600-750mah ego/riva,etc. because of the Amp output.
3)the Riva is said to be superior to the ego. it comes in 808 or 510 stick with the 510 for versatility. they have 1000mah riva's out now. i would recommend one of those or one of the 650mah with the passthrough option. Joye eGo Passthru
4)if you debride atty's it has a hard time holding in the liquid. i suggest you try an LR bridged first then go from there. by debridging an atty it just warms up faster to make more vapor and warmer. if you get an LR problem is solved. if you really want the best 3.7v atty. like i said go with the LR306 from cisco it'll get warm and vapor production is nice. VP that also has to do with the type of pg/vg mix your using. if you decide to debridge it is fine. subscribe to my youtube link in my signature. i have a video up on there for that too.
5)i have found that libertyflights is a nice place to order those because they have a sale right now. PM me your email i think i have a link for discounted prices. why not look into a better PV or mod? dont limit yourself to these lower end retail e-cigs.
6)not a pain, a newb looking for good info. thats always welcome in my book. if you every have any questions feel free to ask.

dont forget to subscribe to my youtube. Thanks!
Good luck on your journey! Happy vaping

I would not recommend using a LR atty with an eGo battery for two reasons:

1) They use MOSFET type switches which can be fried by using LR attys and

2) They are not a true 3.7V device. This means the battery life could be drained much faster and it would shorten the overall life of your battery.

Sure, there are people who use LR's with their eGo's, but it isn't without risks.

So with in mind with what the above post stated. What would be a good model to buy to use Lr attys on then? What are some of the 3.7 volts batts that are popular/reliable/recommended?

use the link that woman of heart recommended to see what you would be interested in. then go to youtube and watch reviews on each one to see if its a fit for you. mostly depends on how much money your willing to spend and the size that your comfortable with.
