eGo T 3 flashes??

very strange... if it only flashes 3 times, then something is wrong. I read somewhere that clicking 10 times resets, but if you cannot get that to work, contact the vendor and let them know what is happening. Most will give a replacement. Some for free, some for shipping.
I tried the 10 click too....I saw info about top post needing adjusting so took a toothpick and moved it around top post, lightly banged battery top down on table and now both are working. ???????????????? Emailed DV that they need to ensure things work before shipping.
Often, and for some reason, when screwing the device into the charger it depresses the center pin too far, and will wedge it there. There is a small rubber grommet fix that you can do to ensure that it doesn't happen every time. From what I've seen, it's mostly the knock-offs that do it.

Just fixed a three flasher tonight for someone else and another one with the same trick ... we hope. Did the quick 5 click shut off and then turned it back on and all is well. The 5 click shut off is tricky... took me a while. It's a rather quick rhythm that's needed. You'll know it's off when it doesn't flash three times when you push the button.
And you can't do the 5 clicks 'too fast' - iow, the faster the better.

eGo center pin fix
Don't HORK down on the carto/tank/whatever in the 510 thread...it pushes the pin down crushing the little gasket causing a short...gently snug it down, stop as soon as you feel slight tension, the head may be a little wobbly but it's not crushing the center pin
This goes for all 510 devices and batteries, it just seems the eGo's are very very very unacceptable to this problem

Tried this method...doesn't work.

Strange.... I have two, they both flash three times and the next push of the button, I get the too many to count flsdhes signalling it needs a recharge.... throw them on the charger and they're fine.... thats if they don't run low mid-vape.... it could be there is more than three flashes but I'm only catching the last three in the series....
A series of different leds seems a lot easier than just one with different flash cycles....
