Hi

If you don't have a variable voltage device you aren't going to get the optimum performance from either. Below is a link about resistances. A single coil ≈2Ω would work well for you. If you have a standard Joyetech the voltage is ≈3.3v, if it's a generic eGo ≈3.7v.

Undestanding resistances, LR and HV

thanks for the help guys. yeah I just bought a standard one just to start off with. but I will soon upgrade. so the dct tank will do? and did I buy the right cartomizers?

Hi, Russ!

Your atomizers are not suitable for your 3.3v battery. Single coil 3Ω atty will only supply 3.6 watts of power, which is waaay below where you want to be. The recommended wattage is somewhere between 4.5-8.5 watts.

Your dual coil 2Ω atty is consists of two 4Ω coils, giving you a paltry 2.7 watts--totally unacceptable wattage.

Since you're stuck, at least for now, with that voltage, I recommend choosing single coil atomizers in the 1.8-2.0Ω range. Anything higher than that will not be satisfactory!

Good luck!

No---stay away from dual coils. See my answer above. Dual coils are useless on 3.3v--they need at least 5v.
