I have been using an ego-t with the double coil cartomizer and really liking it. I recently bought a 900mAh battery (labelled as Ego-T) but find that it cuts (battery flashes) much sooner than my smaller batteries. In fact my smaller batteries really don't go into into protection unless I take several long draws. Is this usual for the larger batteries, or is there perhaps a fault in the protection circuitry?

seems too cut-out at around 4"

Maybe you didn't really get a true 900 mah battery? Is it longer than your smaller batteries? If it is a different size, than maybe it's not being charged properly. I have a lamp timer that is used to turn on/off whatever is plugged into it at certain times. I normally set the "on" when I go to bed, and set it to go off about 4 1/2 hours after I go to sleep.

No, its not that i am switching it off, and it is longer than a normal battery. I'm not sure about the electronics, but maybe it is just a bit too sensitive to (current / heat?) than the normal batteries.

If it is continually going into protection, do you think it could damage the battery? its not getting hot or anything. Even though its annoying, i guess it is better than just running until the battery does blow. Do you think this would be a good reason to return it to seller?
