Hi. I have four eGo-t batteries. Two of the batteries are charged, based on meter (4.02v), but will not work on a cartomizer that works on another battery. These two batteries will not take anymore charge. When the cartomizer is attached, to these two batteries, the button light flashes 3 times and nothing happens. Charging and everything else seems to be working correctly. I have checked the center battery button, cleaned everything with alcohol and swapped batteries and cartomizers.

Does anyone know of or had this issue? Is this something I can repair myself? Should I simply trash the old batteries and get new ones? They do seem to hold charge but just do not work when assembled to a known working cartomozer.

Two batteries seem to work in a fair condition and I use them most of the time. I have one cartomizer that is giving problems and one that has never been used.

I have had the ego-t e-cigarette for about four months. I think the batteries should last longer than that.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sometimes a center positive pin can get pushed down a hair too far. If you haven't tried this, I would turn off the battery, and use the end of a small paper clip to gently pry up the center post, going around the post. This should only be moved up a hair or two, as you don't want to break the connection off the pin inside the tube. If that works, you just didn't get a good connection, and you're all set. If not, they may have failed circuitry and be toast. Good luck and welcome to ECF!
