Ego T and direct dripping?

Hey there guys, since you all have been so helpful over the last few days, I decided to order the Ego T 1000mAh starter kit if you will, it won't be here until tuesday but I'm pretty sure I've got the just on how it works however I have a few questions.

First off, out of curiosity from people that have one already, how long do the attys work and how often should I clean them? I'm aware of how to clean them just not sure on how often I should.

Second off, I am positive I will like the tank system as everyone else seems to like it but I also would like to direct drip every once in a while for maybe trying new juices and such, I'm pretty sure I will need a different style atty for this but I'm unsure on exactly what I will need. If anyone will point me to a good atty that I can drip into directly I would much appreciate it!

For dripping you just need a 510 atty. nothing special about it, you can order them from almost any vendor. Do not get a highvoltage atty and some will counsel against using a low resistance atty (1.5) ohms on an ego.

Will those 306's fit on the ego? I was under the impression that it was a 510, and oldsoldier, I also was under the impression that the 1000mAh's can use the LR's no problem? is that not true? because the tank attys that I bought with the kit were LR

It isn't so much of a mAh issue, some people have reported that lr atties can damage the mosfet in an eGo type battery. I wouldn't use a 1.5 ohm atty on an eGo type but have used 2.0 ohm cartos extensively on egos with no ill effect. YMMV of course.

edit: you won't be able to use the cone if you use a 306 atty, but the threads will fit and you can use it without the cone.

Oh ok, well that's fine by me i don't feel the cone is entirely necessary, I don't mind if my ecig looks weird by any means

Sigh. I just bought LR 306 attys for my ego. What is a possible consequence? :-(

Oh, that is with the intent of direct dripping. I was able to choose cartos for my kit and have no desire to use cartridges only direct drip.
