I just got my first 2 tankomizers today. One came from Goodprohpets for 14.99 (ego-T, came with one free tank and a sample of root beer juice! Thanks GP!!) and the other from Volcano for 11.99 (Inferno-T) which came only with the tanks I ordered to go with it, and it works fine with my riva/ego battery. I basically rinsed them both in hot running tap water for a couple of minutes, blew it out until I stopped getting water out. I started with the Inferno, popped the empty tank on, took it out, filled it through the hole I made at the bottom leaving a little air space, popped it back on, gave it a couple of "priming puffs" with out activating the battery, and it vapes great! No burned taste, no plastic flavor, just HUGE plumes of vapor. Then I did the same with the ego-T, it took a few more primer puffs to get it going, and there was a slight taste of primer on the first couple of puffs, but it quickly started to give me good tasting HUGE vapor as well. I will see how long it stays good, and if I encounter any leaks. I am using 100% VG (strawberry) and so far I am getting good solid draws from both atty's with no issues. I will vape with them both, alternating between the two today to see if anything changes. I also plan to leave them in the standing position to see if there are any leak issues. So far so good! I know there is a ratio of bad to good atty's out there which is true with all of the e cig stuff I have used including batteries, so I am happy I got a good ones for my first try. I am curious to see what the life span will be on both of these using VG liquid. I also left the "chad" and did not alter anything or try rotating the tank. If anyone wants to add their experience with either of these atty's here in this thread, by all means...

I haven't experienced any leakage outside of the assembled Inferno, but I do see juice between the tank and tankomizer when I remove tanks. Almost every tank comes out with residue outside it. Makes it neccessary to have a hanky or tissue when changing tanks. Some of my problem could be from drawing too hard. I'm new to vaping and haven't trained myself on the perfect draw lol.

I'm thinking my attys are fouled, too. One has significantly less production and the other tastes funny no matter how much I clean it or how I clean it. I can't put my finger on the taste, either. It's just unsavory.

I'm wanting less cool and harder hitting vapor than these provide me so far. Hoping the LR attys come out soon...

+1 an LR version would be epic , i'm still not getting great flavor out of mine, I'm using the sweetest most flavorful juice i have, and it still tastes like air :(

Poster 'ournature' in the 'New ego Tank' thread says he has been told by someone at Janty that the LR versions will be debuting next month I think....

Just hoping they wont kill my ego batterys. Seems to be two camps on that issue-

Those that use lr on an ego and have no probs and

those that say they will kill the battery much sooner....

I gave the ego-T to my boyfriend to keep using, and I using the inferno-T atty on my Riva/Ego batt. Both seem to be working just as expected. I am more impressed with this product, and the clearomizers than any other e cig product I have tired to date. The fact that you can see how much liquid you have is making all the difference. No more guessing or just burning out your set up because you think you should still have some juice in there. I'm sorry some folks are having a bad time with these, so far I am not only having no issues, but getting excellent results. I will probably wait to order more, at least until I burn this atty out.

Anyone try the smart tanks for the 510? The only thing that turns me off on those is they still use the filler. I have read of leaking issues with those too. Maybe that will be my next purchase...curiosity gets me every time.

I ordered an ego tank kist about 3-4 weeks ago. My first atty i played with the wick too much and it fell apart on me, it was working ok, except for the dry hits every few hits or so. My second one worked good for about 1-2 weeks and then started to die on me. I cleaned it and it worked ok for 2 or 3 days and then died again. I fixed my first one using some wicking material from a cartomizer and wire mesh from an old atty and so far its working the best.
I ordered one from Volcano, havent used it yet, but am looking forward to see if there is any difference between the two

You seem pretty calm through aqll of that!

I'd be super p'd off if 2 tank attys at these prices died within the span of a month!

My 2 have been okay since Dec 21st, but I did have to get one replaced under warranty as it would only deliver burned taste no matter what i tried with it. my tawa still going strong though. I vape less than 1ml a day though...

Well, the first one was my fault for messing with it too much, but i was able to fix it DIY style. The second one I am a little upset about. But I figured I would try a few more before ruling it out. If I have to buy an atty every 3 weeks it aint gonna happen. Im used to running my 510 attys for weeks if not months. I have been vaping these pretty frequently though. I love the design. I was getting really tired of constantly filling up my 510 cart every 20 minutes, it isnt the safest thing in the world when driving....

Totally agree with this. Im using mine for a week now and it totally delivers what it promised (high liquid capacity vaping at regular resistance). Im a fan of 306 Low resistance vaping, huge amounts of warm vapor, great taste, and nice throat hit. I'd be a convert if this t-tank system can deliver an LR experience, but for now i only use it at best when driving or lying down (totally works flawlessly lying down), and if not i still use my LR306 or my LR Mega Atty.

ok, after a few days of vaping, I did notice that my VG juice was clogging up my atty, so I had to rinse it, and refilled the tank. As far as flavor, I don't notice much difference, but then I am using VG which tends to be less flavor anyway. I don't get any plastic taste. Once in a while I get a harsh hit that I have to do a cold prime (draw with out pressing button) then it works again. I also notice it goes through a bit more juice than the clearomizer style tank system. I do get huge puffs of vapor though. I don't care for throat hit, so not having much of one is good for me. I would say I like these well enough to keep using them. Much more user friendly being able to fill a tank or two and go, and way fewer nasty hits than I got from the 510 atty having to drip every few puffs. It could probably use a little more fine tuning to be perfect, but for what it is, I am happy enough with it. The ego-T is also performing well, I have cleaned and refilled it once as well, just rinsing with warm tap water, blowing extra water out, then putting tank back on. No waiting for drying time, doesn't seem to be a problem so far, as long as you blow/shake most of the water out.
