eGo-T atomizer and eGo EPower 18650 mod

Anyone own the mod pictured below? It's an eGo EPower 18650 mod. I'm having a weird problem. Although it is designed to work with all eGo and eGo-T parts and accessories, it's not working with my eGo-T atomizer (Type A ). I know the atty is good because it fires up on my eGo-T battery just fine. And the eGo mod is fine because it fires up all my cartos. So I'm trying to figure out which one is the problem. If anyone has run across this in the past please let me kow. Thanks!

Smoketech has been having alot of problems with these working on anything below 2 ohms.......And while there are supose to be new switches out to fix that problem, I've not seen any advertised yet anywhere.



So, I bought a EGO-T 18650 and its vaping right now on a 5ml 1.5 ohm tank.


theres 5 or 6 threads scattered around the forum with other folks having the same trouble. Try some standard resistance stuff with it(above 2 ohms) and see it it'll vape with that.

It's not the ohms. It's just not making the positive connection. The skirt on the eGo-T atty won't let it screw on far enough. I had to get a 510 to eGo adapter and now it works fine. Thanks for the info though. I was unaware of those issues.

You can pull the center connection on the atty out a bit. Be careful, just about 0,5mm or so This happend to me when I used different ego batterys.

How did ya do that? Needle nose? Screwdriver?
