Help!I saw some great pics that some one put up.. and now I can't find them anywhere! Pics of the inside of the ego tank atomizer. I got one that stopped vaping and I took out that plate and now I need to find the pics to take apart the rest. The pics that I saw had the thing all taken apart showing everything. Please help if you can put up a link so I can continue on..

Here's the pic I took. There are some other cut-aways out there too.

Basically, everything is held in by the big sliver piece, second from the left in the pic. It is press-fit into the cone piece.

When I took this one apart, I wasn't sure, so I took it apart in pieces. I'm lucky I didn't destroy it more, I do plan to attempt a re-build.

In the future, I plan to tap the whole thing out at once. I have a Craftsman 1/4" nut driver that just fits into the tank hole. I THINK you can tap it all out with that. I will be leaving the needle plate in when/if I try again. The plate is tough, and will help to apply even pressure. Be patient and it should work.

DISCLAIMER: I have never actually done it this way. Only try this if your atty is dead and you do not care if it is destroyed!
