I hate with a passion the stock atomizer's that come with the ego-t series. They leak instantly after a few minutes of vaping and after a few sessions of vaping they don't every work right (less vapor to hardly any vapor at all). I've tried cleaning them but the two I have are completely trashed.

My question to yall is what is a better way?! I just want a atty that will consistently be the same every time even if I have to periodically clean them as thats not a problem. I'm tired of dripping every 5 minutes in my 510 blank attys.

I buy my EgoT attys from Vapor Kings and have no problems with them, I only had one that I trashed...I thought it went bad due to a leak, but now I doubt that was the problem. The leaking I solved by switching to the replacement rubber tank caps (also available from vapor kings). Now I only have leaking when I vape a thick dark juice (even then it isn't much of a leak). Best of luck!

I would go with regular cartomizers, at least at first. Personally I dont like most clearomizers, like the CE2/CE3s. They can be a pain in the ... and can be really finicky and leak like the eGo tanks. They also basically have to be modded just for them to work like they should.
Since your frustrated with stuff causing problems, I def wouldnt use clearomizers yet bc their more likely to have issues than a regular carto. Try the Boge cartos. Their easy to use, dont leak, and dont need to be fiddled with

I buy all my cartos from Crystal Clear Vaping. They have good prices and free shipping which is nice when you just want to order some cartos. I use the Ressurector cartos in a 3.5ml tank on an E-Power, but they also sell the Boge 2.0ohm and 3.0ohm cartos. I like the Ressurectors bc they give an awesome vape and hold about twice as much juice as a Boge does, but the Boges are good cartos too. You get the best deal if you buy a 15-pack, and if you buy a 15-pack you get a free drip tip. For the Boges its $20 for a 15-pack, which is a good deal. And dont forget to put in "ecf5off" bc your get 5% off the order, which makes them even cheaper.

hello, if you like the ego's you should try the new ego-c.

I have been using them for two weeks now and they are a big improvement over the ego-t.

The ego-c will almost never leak plus has more consistency with flavor.

I say will almost never leak because it has leaked on me once. But this does not happen very often.

I would also recommend the ego stardust.

Well, there are some suggestions. Good luck.

What makes these kangers and boges so different from the original ego attys (non leaking, more consistent)? I would search myself but there's so many thread on the two that I don't know where to start.

They use a different method of juice delivery. Cartomisers are a tube consisting of a filler material that holds the juice, and surround the heating coil. Your ego-T is a tank that drips the juice onto a spike, which consists of a wick that feeds down to the coil. Many people find that they dont feed the juice well and either leak or dont deliver enough juice which causes whats known as dry hits (a burning taste). They also tend to mute the flavour.

The most important thing to remember if you choose cartomisers is to keep the filler moist. If you let them dry out you'll end up with a burning filler taste which can be impossible to get rid of. It shouldn't take you long to get the hang of filling them and becomes almost second nature to note the signs of when they need a top up.

What about the clearomizers? I've been hearing they crack alot from the heat of it all. Would they be anything worth looking at.

Try the Fluxomizers from GotVapes. I've been using the XL 1.8ml ones at 2.4-2.6ohm on my eGo batts for about a month and a half now. I swear by these babies. They do need a minor mod right off the bat, which is to remove the main cup seal and then flip the smaller seal over to use in its place. Once done, they are awesome. Great vapor and flavor and each ones lasts me a couple weeks of heavy vaping before the coil finally breaks or burns out.

Here's a great tutorial vid. It looks harder than it really is. I don't do the part where he cuts the little flange off the smaller seal. I just flip and use as is with no probs. VaporChase Tutorial - Modding a Fluxomizer Deluxe - YouTube :vapor:

edit: absolutely no issue with cracking on these either. The tubes are fairly soft flexible plastic that's very durable. Kinda feels like Tupperware, for lack of a better analogy.

Try some cartomisers with your ego batteries. Plenty of options to choose from but I can recommend boges or kanger horizontal coils, both at 2.0 ohms. Still have 3 new ego-t atties sat in my vape box and I doubt I'll ever use them as they just don't seem to work well at all.

I love my ego tank. I have only had one tank that gave me leaking issues. Got 10 originally and still have 8. Threw the leaking one before ordering new caps and am still using 2 with the original tank caps. Dog chewed up the other tank it was still in the wrapper (dumb dog)
I have only used 4 or 5 attys, did have a few DOA and sent them back thats why not sure if it is 4 or 5. If you want to get rid of your tank attys i will take them. And one of those attys is the type b

What is different is cartomizers are cheaper and disposable. You fill totally to stated capacity, cleanup, settle on different sides and ends for a while (15-20 minutes for me) using suitable juice (I find suitable to be very clear juices and fairly thin like 80PG/20VG) . Then keep them damp while vaping. Many can get a week of use or more out of a carto but it depends how heavily you vape. When it degrades, unlike an expensive atomizer which you need to then fight with and keep using, instead you fill a new carto and throw out the old one.

Most people who start with atomizers switch to cartomizers for everyday vaping. Atomizers can still be used for testing new juices and vaping occasionally used juices.

People who want a larger juice supply may use carto tanks which are tanks that take an entire pre-sidewall-punched cartomizer down the center of the tank and surround it with a few ml of liquid.

Plus 1 for the Ego-c, much much easier to clean and works better to start with than the T, and doesn't cost as much to replace. Nice clean vap with no filler material like regular cartos.

I have to wonder, if there is a difference between the eGo kits offered by the different vendors. I've been using the eGo-T tanks since August 2011, and once I made the change on the cartridges to the soft caps, have never had a leak issue. More importantly, I never have an issue with the attys, either (since I started vaping, I've ordered, maybe, 4 attys in 6 months). I do plan on trying a few mods, but I just find it so puzzling that there are so many problems being reported with the eGo kits. Maybe they aren't being made by a certain standard?

I know I'm falling into the "I don't care what you're looking for, here's what I like" rote AGAIN, but I gotta say - been vaping on LR cartos in J-tanks exclusively for almost five days now, and it's just working for me. Taste is so much more consistent than with 'naked' cartos, there's no hassle, no fear that you're gonna run dry unexpectedly. It's just... there. Sorry for the blasphemy - it's just like analongs: trustworthy. Again, it may not work for everyone and for every circumstance or specialty need, but it's a very good setup. Worth 20 bucks to try, you know...

Yup...can we say clones and quality difference. Joyetech is all I buy. Not the clones. No Probs at all.
