After finishing a vaping session on my eGo T, how best to store the device? Should I remove the tank from the atty... especially if there's still plenty of juice in it? Should I remove the atty from the battery (if the batt doesn't need a charge) I remember hearing somewhere that it's best to leave the atty wet with juice... is this right? Or should one dab the atty with a q-tip or something to clean it right after use?

Thanks

It should be ok just to leave it assembled if it's only for a while or overnight. Unless it has a real leaking problem (which I hope yours doesn't) then it wont leak all over itself by leaving it a while.

For cleaning the Ego T, I'd say, about once a week or sooner, blow it out, rinse it out with water and dry burn it clean. Just keep turning the atomiser on with no liquid in, no cart on, just the atomiser on the battery and pulse power through it until it stops smoking and the wick in the straw bit goes red. Other than that, I wouldn't worry about it and just keep it assembled/filled.

I tried an ego-T and at first had no issues for the first week or so. I was just vaping with it, blowing out the atty at night and storing with the tank in the atty, standing vertically. One of the tanks drained one night, since then I've had one other do the same. Not sure if it was me or the tanks but, I've gone to just using 2.0 ohm boge cartos on the ego batteries and find it is a very good vape. I may go back to the tanks at some point but for now, I'm really enjoying using the boge LR cartomizers.

I had the same issue too. The first 2 days I used the atomizer it worked. Then the tanks would flood the atomizer. Not sure what happened. I tried to take 1 atomizer apart and destroyed it. Ever since I ordered boge 2.0 and clearomizers. Haven't gone back to the tank system.

Thanks for the info, guys. I've had very minimal leaking so far. Gonna have a look at those Boge 2.0s just the same.

I wasn't a big fan of the Boge 2.0's. They are a regular cartomizer size, and that means they don't hold much fluid. I like the EMDCC's better. Good vape, and big enough that you don't have to refill constantly.

Woah from what i heard don't ever dry burn an atty, there is a reason why you keep your atty wet! leave your e-cig together and store it standing up and you wont have any problems, if you want to wash your atty, I saw a vid on using steam to clean it, the girl in the vid used an espresso machine's steam to blow out the atty onto paper towel, I have a hand held steam cleaner that i will be using soon to clean the atty

I think you may be thinking of cartomizers. When I use my atties, I dry burn 'em to cook off the joose residue with no ill effects thus far. Actually, I use a de-spiked/de-plated eGo tank atty for testing sample jooses. I do 'prime' 'em prior to vaping 'em!

To all those that have had eGo tank issues, very few folk have had extended good luck with the eGo tank system. Most go on to either cartos or tanks, myself included.

Iffy, what do you mean when you say that people go from eGo tank system to tanks? From tank to tank? I don't understand this. Do you mean a whole new tank PV, or a different tank style on the eGo T?

I only found a few don't like the tank system. Mt Ego T has worked fantastic since the 1st week(they all need a little break in period). The Ego Ts that have had problems with are the copies... the fit is slightly off and caused the majority of leaks. That is where the soft caps for the tank come in. I bought original Joye Ego T and is problem fre, vapes like a chimney and need to put it down from chain vaping.
Never vape your tank dry, always leave a bit left(no burnt taste) and refill it. Never dry burn an ego T atty(burns the wicking), just blow it out after each tank change, Clean the atty once a week in Vodka solution for 20 mins, then soak in hot water overnight. Blow it out and allow to dry at least 24 hrs.

I dry burn my atties as well. Albeit carefully. Works perfectly for me. Haven't done it in quite a while though...Might be time lol!
