Hi folks, firstly, a large thanks to Shaka and others who have taken so much time and effort into creating how-to guides for the maintenance of our Clearo's/atty's !!

Shaka's thread is here by the way:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ning-maintenance-shaka-zuluf.html#post4195394

Okay so now my problem!

Both me and my wife have an Ego-T and BOTH batteries overheat at their Base-Plate and the top part, where the button is located, gets very hot only after vaping from only 5-10 minutes vaping

But the battery Tube itself stays cool...

This is the problem, ive no idea why this is happening and its driving us mad

Has anyone had this before and also know of any known cures for it, im always tinkering with things and going to attempt to re-coil and re-wick a CE5 Clearomiser (we have 4 of these, 2 working lol !) so will put up a how to for anyone it'll help later on when i get my wick and wire through, sucessfully got inspired by Shaka's post on wick/coil cleaning and now am vaping thick clouds again :vapor: with the cleaned out Clearomisers but the main problem just gets worse every week !!

Here's a run down of things:

Ego-T Battery, 900mAh, Silver; ( Not sure if its official/genuine of not, we are Learner-Vapers ! )

- Battery Base Plate Gets HOT VERY QUICKLY after, say, the 10th Vape with pauses in-between of about 5-15 seconds
- Metal Part Surrounding Button Also Gets HOT but gradually
- Metal Tube of Battery stays Cool ( So not a Lithium Battery Problem, we dont think, lol)

Please could anyone help for these problems ?!?

Many thanks in advance for all and any help & again a massive thanks to Shaka for the maintenance thread :toast: ! :toast:

Keep Vaping and Keep Vaping from Being TAXED by any Government !!!!

If you're just vaping heavily, some people then will use 2 batteries. Allowing the hot one to cool down a bit.

Yaa thats another problem, lol, ive got another Ego-T battery but the inner thread has failed and dont have the money to buy a replacement top part for it yet, real annoying as its fully charged, just cant use it with my clearomisers lol !

funding is well short this month lol !

thanks again for the input, well appreciated ;-)
