Hello all

ive been using the ego-t , tank system for a few months now, i have had no issues with it, i like the idea of filling the tank, then i can vape for a day or so.

I was just wondering if i should try these clearomizers, some say they are better, for flavour, and vapor, my juice vendor (mt baker vapor), suggested i try the kanger type.....i will assume they fit on the ego battery, does anyone have experience with this model, (they are less expensive then replacing ego attys)........or is there another model i should look at....

Thanks in advance....dave in edmonton

I've been using the Type B tanks with my ego-T and had no problems with them either. After reading so many favorable suggestions about Kanger T3s I decided to try one and so far I like it as well. I got the MT3 version simply because I prefer the more discrete appearance over the standard T3. I also got an Evod at the same time but so far I like the performance of the MT3 better.

I haven't had mine long enough to replace the atomizer head yet so I'm not sure how they will compare cost wise.

I have tried many clearomizers. The CE4's were ok, the CE4+ (CE5) which are the one's that you can clean really easily and change the heads when they burn out or change the resistance work well, the kanger T3 are so so in my experience, and the vivi nova are great so far (I just purchased one of these recently, albeit with the metal tube instead of the clear one so I can vape citrus/cinnamon juices without cracking/melting the tube)

I have noticed that the CE4/5's vary wildly in quality between vendors. Some the coils work great and others it seems are very poorly made with hot spots and only half the coil heats.

I see a lot of mixed feelings when it comes to clearo's. Personally I started with a Kanger T3 and I liked it. About a week later and every head I put on it was leaking. The flavor was good with it until I started getting the plastic taste and random dry hits. I tried removing one of the wicks like some have suggested but nothing helped. After that I picked up some carto's and I've been using them since.

I did pick up a mini vivi nova just to try it out and after a few days is seems to be working much better then the T3 I have. The flavor in the vivi is still a little muted compared to my carto's but not by much, and it puts out a nice amount of vapor.

Out of everything I've tried so far my favorites are the Smoktech 1.7ohm single coil carto's. To me they deliver a nice clean flavor and plenty of vapor. If you want a clearo for ease of use though my vote would go to the vision mini vivi nova and a tank adapter to make it look nicer on your ego. Just make sure if you do get a nova that it's actually made by vision.

You think that ego t tastes a little plasticky, that was my problem with mine? I thought i hit the goldmine when i discovered the vision stardust long wick clearo.

I ended up buying an eroll because i have a thing for cigalikes. I noticed my liquids tasted great, dropped the ego entirely. Recently discovered the atty in an ego c setup is the same as an eroll, and ordered a new chrome 650 and a chrome ego c upgrade kit.

I replaced the wick with a mesh wick. So much better. These little joyetech atties are the best thing ive used to far. Though i have not had a good carto tank, and am considering picking up a nice one at some point.

ego-t tastes plasticky to me for sure, vivi novas rob flavor, stardust aren't cleanable in my experience, cartos are filled w/ asbestos (j/k)...all delivery systems have drawbacks, it just depends what works for best u. so my advice is try as many as possible. when u find a good tank also try some dripping atties - my fav is a 306 bridgeless from smartvapes - they hit and taste better than any tank/clearo/carto i've tried (and i've tried A LOT) :toast:

I have tried quite a few different ones myself and right now I am using the Kanger EVOD on a Twist and it is performing very nicely. It is a bottom coil clearo and really does a good job. Easy to fill, good draw, so far no flooding or dry hits.

Kanger eGo 2.4ml EVOD MT BCC Cartomizer- New Colors
