Hi there, i'm not an expect by any means but from my limited experience and the reading i've done i would say that if you are near a 1yr mark on an ego type battery you have done well with it and probably time to replace it. If it still works ok I personally would put it in a drawer and keep that hard to press button ego battery for a backup and get another! If my current ego's i have last 1 year with all the button pushing i do i will be grateful.

cheers!

Tx. I'm looking at a mod type batteries right now but currently rotate through 3 ego batts to keep the wear somewhat even on them all. I also never deplete any type of rechargeable as i believe in more frequent short charges is better then fewer long cycle charged. Works for me so far with all my devices from tablets to phones to ecig batts :)
