So I've been using one of the Ego batteries that you can plug in as a PT if you like or even charge it on an ego charger from the other end I believe, haven't tried that yet though.

But anyway I still use all my joye 510 attys and stuff and was thinking about getting a cone and an ego-t atty with a set of tanks but i noticed there is a LR version also... Has anyone tried this? I've never tried LR for anything yet and i'm curious if its recommended by anyone for the tanks? Or to just go with a regular ego-t atty? And are they easy to refill??

Also are there any goosenecks that aren't too expensive??

I've tried both the SR and LR variants of the t-atties and personally I felt that they required way to much tweaking to get to work right, on the other hand many people love them once they get them set up correctly, its just more work than filling a cartomizer to get it to vape right. IIRC the LR tank atties are 1.7 ohm so there is the possibility that they will shorten the life of your battery but they will produce more hotter vapor if you decide to use them.

There are low resistance "Tankomizers" for the eGo-T, and I personally really like the way they look on an eGo-T...but I've been mostly disappoined with the flavor. I like them for convenience and some can produce a good amount of vapor, but I prefer the flavor from Dual Coil Cartomizers or direct dripping on a low resistance 510 or 306 atomizer with driptip.

Hello and welcome to ecf....I am in the camp of I love the tanks......I prefer the reg ones vs the LR.....and I get great vapor and taste. Although I will admit it takes two to three tank full to really appreciate the full flavor of the juice....
when you get the tank atties, they are usually full of primer fluid....I hold a tissue to the threaded end and blow through...Do that until no more liquid comes out. Then take a q-tip and wipe the inside really well...sometimes takes a couple of them.....then I puncture the tank by inserting it into the atty. Remove tank pop the end that goes into the atty(I use a thick blunt needle) and fill with your juice...Before putting the tank back on I drip a drop or two directly onto the wick(where the tank is inserted) Puff on it a couple of times without pressing the button. Then vape.....
Anyway, this works for me....... having vaping and glad to have you.

Hi! I use the Lr ego-t atty's. They have more vapor and better taste IMHO. I have been using tanks for at least 6 months now. Yes you give up some flavor for the convenience of using the tank but this problem can be solved by buying nicquids (e-liquids) with extra flavoring added. I love being able to fill a couple of tanks in the morning with no mess. No fiddling with leaking carts or dry cartos. It is nice to be able to leave the house without a pocket full of bottles and stuff. They are super easy to refill, just pop the top off and drip nicquid into the tank. You can also syringe fill. There is some things to learn though.

1. Always pre-fire the atty for a second or 2 and take long slow drags, it prevents the nicquid from being sucked in the vapor channels and into your mouth. Also remember you need to allow time for wicking so stop every few pulls for a minute or 2. If you chain vape use both pv's that come in your kit, alternating between the 2 so one gets time to wick while you use the other. Charge both when you sleep.
2. Always make sure the tanks are in fully.
3. Use 70 PG/30 VG nicquid or thin your Vg to that consistency. A too thick nicquid prevents air from getting into the tank and prevents wicking.
4. If you get a dry hit pull the tank out, put it back and pull without firing the atty. Sometimes you need to release the pressure that gets built up in the tanks and pulling brings nicquid through the wick into the atty.
4. Always blow primer out throughly and prime a new atty with a few drops of nicquid before use.
5. Resist cleaning until you really have too.
6. If all you taste is burned juice, you need to clean the wick. Pop the piercing plate out (I use a small flathead screwdriver against the piercing plate and push until it pops out), remove the wick and either burn the crud off or rinse with hot water. Re-assemble so wick is level with the lowest point of the piercing place and push it back until it snaps back in . (I use a multi-screwdriver with no bit for this) There are many videos of this on ECF and u-tube if you need instructions.

I enjoy my Lr ego-t, it is still my goto pv for leaving the house and don't find them too hard to deal with or fix. I'm not a techie person so if I can do it, I'm sure you can too. They last a long time for me. I have some Sr atty's that are 6 months old now and still going strong. If you have any problems with them drop me a p.m. and I'll try to help you troubleshoot. Enjoy your ego-t! :)
