I've searched around the forums and have not quite found the answer I am looking for yet, hope you guys don't mind me posting anyway, you all seem like a nice crowd for what its worth.

I recently purchased an eGo-T w/ Type B atomizer from liberty flights. I'm quite pleased with it, however I feel like it is using a ton of juice and doesn't hit quite as good compared to my friend's eGo w/ LR atty & drip tip. I am looking to "convert" my eGo-T to something I can drip with. I'm not really looking to mod my existing atty's, just looking for advice on what to buy to make this happen.

I'm assuming I can buy a 510 LR atomizer and drip tip, but looking at my battery, I would need a cone that goes over the atomizer. I can't seem to find the cone anywhere (they have "Atomizers & Cones" listed on liberty-flights.com, but I don't actually see any).

So, with that being said, am I on the right track? If so, where would be the best place to buy all of the items I need? And finally, am I doing something wrong, or does the tank system truly just use more juice?

GoodProphets.com sells all that stuff. You can use 510 or 306 atomizers or even take out the plate and drip in the tank atomizer (they are good dripping attys). Each of those take a different type of drip tip. You don't need a cone. It restricts airflow a bit and maybe looks better, but it is not necessary to drip. You just screw in the atomizer, put on the drip tip, prime and drip your ejuice.

On an eGo battery (3.4 volts) for the best flavor get a LR atomizer 2.0 or 1.8. Your batteries won't last as long but the vape will be more flavorful and warmer. If you are willing to risk it and watch the resistance closely with a meter, you can even get away with 1.5 ohm atomizers. Ego batteries do not like to go below 1.0 ohms at all, and atomizer resistance can drop over time as the atty gets old.

rather than starting a new thread....on the ego...is there any info on weather or not you get any longer battery life if you 5-click turn it off vs. just leaving it in the on mode?

I wouldn't think it would make a big difference unless you set it off by accident in your pocket. I've never read about any studies or people even asking the question.
