When I got my ego-T it was the best thing ever and after like 2 weeks all of a sudden the flavor/vapor/throat hit just died...i have to draw on it so hard and get almost nothing even on a freshly charged battery. Does anyone know what's up with this? I would love to know.

Why don't you try cleaning it. I don't know what kind of juices you use but some may be carmelizing on the coil. I put mine in Everclear or Vodka in a small rubbermaid container and shake the ..... out of them then let them soak 10 mins. Remove from that and drop in HOT water (I nuke some water to get it real hot). Shake the ..... out of them again - rinse under tap, blow out. Sometimes I let them dry over night and sometimes I just put a tank back on and without it being attached to the battery - act like I am vaping (draws juice onto the wick) and let sit 30 minutes. Good to go then.

I'm on day 8 of the Ego-T with zero problems. Keep in mind I've only been vaping a bit over a month, but I was killing a regular 510 atty once a week like clockwork (due to my vaping habits, obviously, because my friends using the same equip from the same place are getting a month or more out of theirs), so I'm hoping these Tank Atty's do end up lasting a bit longer...
Did see a youtube vid about the wick coming up too high on some of these (which makes sense since the draw is probably pulling them upward constantly) and that you can use a needle or something to push them back down a bit - just have to be careful not to push the wick down too far, or it will fall INTO the cartridge and the atty will be ruined....not had to try this yet myself, though.

I had the same problem barely see anything in there. So I took the plate off, clean the atty and adjust the wick, too. If you still have warranty on your tank atty, make sure you ask the supplier will that void the warranty before attempting. I used one for about a week. At first it was great. After a week, I had about the same experience: one or two good hits, then almost no vapor and a VERY hard draw. I could blow it out and get another good hit or two. The atty was flooding. Yes, I could try to adjust the wick. Yes, I could pull the plate and mess with it that way. The thing is, I want less hassle, less fiddling around when I vape. The tank is not for me.
Anything that has a 510 connection will fit the eGo plus a few things meant only for the eGo. Cartomizers, Clearomixers, MEGA cartos, MEGA atties, and different brands of most of those too. Boge cartos are popular, i know, but I haven't tried them. Then there's always thread adapters to use other cartos etc. The many options are why I went with the eGo as an upgrade from my nJoy RN4081. So far I'm happy with my Mega/XL type B cylinder atties, but it hasn't been a week yet so I'm reserving judgment at this point.
cartomizers work fine on the ego--i'm thinking of making the switch and have a several different ones coming in to test. i have used the standard joye 510 cartomizers (indifferent airy vape) and the large ego cartomizer (about the same taste and vapor range as the tank.) http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/requests-opinions-reviews/165529-cartos-good-bad-ugly.html has lots of 510 compatible carts mentioned.
dogpound, I find that the tankomizers have a tendency to flood. One thing that works for me it to remove the tank and replace it with the dummy mouthpiece that came with the atty and draw on that for a while. After about 10-25 dry draws the atty seems to come back to life. After that I put the tank back in and keep on vaping till it floods again. Seems a bit of a pain but I carry the dummy mouthpiece with me when I vape my T's. I have one that I haven't even bothered to clean and just use this method and it works like a champ. If you dont have the dummy mouth piece you can use an empty tank and remove the bottom plate in its place.
Another method is switch to a clearomizer/CE2. Burly, easy to clean, stands up to dry burning and easily modifiable.
