Well well well! Here we are again where I post a good / bad rant about a very new product! Perhaps you recall my burying of the eGo-T? If not, you didn't miss much.

First up: the eGo-T LR. Looks like the flooding problem is closer to being fixed. Don't get me wrong, it still floods, if left upright, but not to the mind-numbing proportions of the original eGo-T. I have four of these, so it would appear I like them. Holds around 1ml. They hit very nicely and draw very nicely. The flavor is good and the vapor is great. I have found I clean them once every three days ... meaning that I use one for three days, I gotta clean it (using vodka) and then most of the funkiness is gone. For $10 a pop (thanks cignot!) its definetly worth a try at least. Downside - LR = more liquid. A FYI - using these for three weeks now, all still work.

Second: the eGo-T Type B. Apperently, the eGo battery / normal cone did not look enough like a small baseball bat, so why not make the atty into a cylinder to make the dream come true? This thing is the opposite of small as far as ecigs go. Anyhow, had this for just under a week and its pretty good. Its almost as good (but not quite) with the hit, vapor and flavor as the LR, but uses less liquid, so the trade off is right there. It holds around 2ml of liquid, doesn't leak. Same as the LR with flooding - leave it upright for a while and its time to loose a half tank. Also, there is a reason there is only a flat tip - if this came in a round mouthpiece it would be impossible to use! Still, I like it a lot in the end and plan on getting more. $16 a pop is a lot, but could be worth it to try one.

:p

I don't understand how anyone can like the Ego-t, the flavor of the liquids are so muted they don't taste anywhere near as good as a regular LR Atty or just an Atty for that matter, heck a CE2 Carto is even better tasting than these things. Then there is that whole plastic taste thing going on with some of the liquids, most of the liquids. I took a syringe and stuck it right down through the needle in the Atty where the liquid goes without using a cart and just filled in there and tail piped through the Ego-t and no plastic taste, this tells me everything I need to know about the plastic tanks, these are just not for me. My 2 c

Well, I understand where you are coming from, but with the Type B and LR I am not having any flavor problems or plastic taste. I tend to use pretty mild flavors however ...

Thanks for the commentary.

I just received some new atties to replace my old one that were a like 3+ months old. Plus I got an LR atty just to try.

I've never been an LR sorta guy... but I'm going to go into it with an open mind.

Thanks for your review!

Heh ... I never had an LR before this. Its a pleasant surprise, with more flavor and vapor, at the cost of more liquid used.

I have three, reg r type a , lr typ a and the new B, They all work I think I prefer the low res type a, never fails to give a good hit.
As far as flooding seems to me you have to store these things tip down,or on their side. I have had a couple of messes when they sit upright or in my pocket for a while.

The regulars were muted, and I had a leak on those. But I think that was user error, I've not had a single leaked since I learned to make sure they are pushed in all the way hard, and twisted around a couple of times, on any model.

The LR ones are much better. Better flavor, same good vapor.

Are they my favorite e-cig? No. I would much rather be on a mod with a real LR atty, or a GGTS/UFS or Reo. However, those are honking big odd looking things. So when I'm out, or in a meeting and not at my desk. I will often grab the Ego-T and go. Its small, functional and convenient within those criteria, it performs quite well compared to other items that meet the same criteria.

i have ego-t LR at times it is great but most of the time it floods like crazy and when it is not flooding it leaks, i just wish they could get thse problems worked out every so often when the gods are aligned it vapes grate. i see a lot of hype about "leaking is fixed" but no one talks about flooding problems, which for me are much more serious. Oh well another few bucks sacrificed to the vaping gods

I bought an Ego-T from LF and I have to say that mine never flooded. I am not sure what type mine is (Didn't know there were types) but the only complaint I have as far as the Ego-T is the plastic flavor, especially when it's new.

True, the flavors are a bit mooted, but the Ego-t is the best e-cig I have to take with me driving or just when I am out of the house. The battery lasts a long time and I don't have to refill it as often.

I wish they used a different container for the juice that didn't have the plastic taste. Is there such a thing? I would trade being able to see the juice to get rid of the plastic taste
