When it comes to battery size, the number gives away it's dimensions. 18650 is 18mm diameter, 65mm long and the 0 means 'round type battery'. The ego-t is a 14mm diameter tube that holds a 13450 (if my memory serves me right) battery. The extra mm difference is to accommodate the ground wire that runs along side the battery inside the tube.

Does anyone know what the maximum size battery this tube will hold? I have a bunch of 18650 batteries that I'd like to use. THANKS

??????????? I'm really not understanding the question. An 18650 battery tube is for use with 18650 batteries  Or are you asking if it needs flat or button top batts?

I've seen variances also, especially batteries with built-in protection. Was my answer to your initial question, about the size of the ego-t, what you were looking for? There are a lot of applications that the 18650 are great at. It's easy to find stuff around the house or at the local hardware store to cram a couple into.

Actually... the last digit. "0" in this case, does NOT indicate it is a round battery, that is a common myth that is circulating is all. The first two numbers are the diameter in millimeters... the last three are actually the length in 1/10 of a millimeter increments. I don't think I recall ever seeing anyone use the last digit though ( yet ) so they are usually "0" even when the battery may exceed the size they are labeled at.

Not at the moment but I have seen them advertised. I do have some that won't fit into a standard 65 mm Lava Tube. I would call Gotvapes but they ask that you come here. I had hoped that someone from GotVapes was reading this and could find out. Thanks!

Well, without having the longer batteries, the best we could do is to find a way to measure by compressing the spring, but that is not gonna guarantee that it would actually work, nor that it would be safe. I can check with one of the guys and see if they by chance have any that are longer.

I guess my next question would be....do they not fit in your lava tube because they are too long...or because the battery is too big a circumference? I have seen posts about eFest batts having too thick a wrapper on the battery to fit in some devices.
It would be easier for someone here to help if we knew just what batteries you are wanting to use.

Does anyone know if they are even making these anymore? I love mine and have been looking to grab a couple more but they have been sold out everywhere i look. I was told a couple months ago that the manufacturer was redesigning them but i have seen nodda! Can't even find the control units for them.
