The Ego-T mod is not a mechanical mod, not sure if that is an issue. You can fire it in either regulated 3.3v or unregulated. At least with the not flat head, you can charge the battery in the tube, so that is a plus I guess. Edit, you can charge in the tube with the flat head with a 510 to Ego adapter.
The bolt, some people love them, they just don't do anything for me aesthetically. They've been around for a while, so I think they are relatively proven, at least in context to their price range.
The Chi-Chi is real popular and seems pretty decent for the price, not much else I could say.
I generally wouldn't buy a kit, the batteries are almost always bad which I surely would throw away. Charger is usually only a ten dollar charger, so you could just get it separate. I'd also get a vapesafe fuse for an extra 7-10 dollars.
Honestly, if I had to tell you one of these, not considering anything else...I'd say the ego-t but buy the device only and everything else separate.
On another note, you can get a Vamo, an Efest 18650, an Efest 18350 and a trustfire for under 80 dollars. So then you can do VV and VW with two different sized setups or just set it to VV at 3.7 if that is what you want.
For about a hundred dollars, not sure on your money situation, you could get a nice pretty nice US made mechanical 18650 mod.

-Telescopic: 18650/18500/18350, you choose what you want to use at the time. 18350 mode is very pocket friendly.

I do like the look of the chi-chi and I was going to buy one, then I decided I was getting an EA mod, it just didn't seem like I would use the chi-chi. The only caveat is that with a fully mechanical mod, you need to be conscious of not draining your batteries too low. It's not hard to just change them when the vape changes, it's just something to be aware of.
I could probably offer some other suggestions if you gave us some more info like maximum budget (is it 70), what are you hooking up to it and how comfortable are you with things like washers and o-rings.

I have a Bolt and a Chi-Chi (or CCST). I prefer the Chi-Chi myself. The Chi-Chi is slimmer in the hand. Also I like that I can telescope it - so I can go 18350, 18490, or 18650. With the Bolt the smallest I can go is 18490, and with the extension ring an 18650.
The Bolt is not completely mechanical - it has some wires. The Chi-Chi is completely mechanical. I find the Bolt fire button easier to use, but some people have had problems with them.

Of the choices, I have the eGo T mod and the Bolt. I like them both, but would choose the eGo T mod. More reliable switch with the option of regulated or unregulated power. Can change up the look easily with spare tubes available cheap...and even the power heads can be gotten cheap. The fire button is more responsive, and it feels less bulky in the hand. You do have the option of two sizes...18650 or 18350. Two options for charging. It's a great APV that isn't as appreciated here as it ought to be. I had my Bolt fail (switch) in less than a month and had to have it replaced. My eGo T has never failed and I've had it about 5 months. It's still going strong. My husband prefers it to any of the APVs I've gotten him...even over the VV LT and V8. It's about all he uses. He does have both tube sizes. We both pkan to get the flathead power heads soon.
I have a chi chi I think it is my favorite of all. I use an 18500mah and a Kick. I also have an extension so I can use 18650mah and a Kick. Never thought about it but I bet I can use 18350mah and Kick too?

I've always like the longevity/durablity of joyetech bats over other ego types, with the exception of breaking 3 twists (button collapsed) two weeks ago.
Since I get bounty hunter from litecig and dig the handiness of 18350, and given the price, I'll have to pick one of these up next time I order from them.

You should still be able to submit, it'll just be a bit prior to it going through. It's worth it for the classies and co-ops. Things are much cheaper via coop and the classies has some steals and hard to find items.
I use my Chi-Chi the most these days ... that includes my regulated PVs (I only run rebuild-able atomizers).
Looks pretty nice with an AGA-T+ genesis atomizer and if you use low ohm 28 gauge wire or twisted 32 gauge it will ROCK your SOCKS off. I paid under $50 for the Chi-Chi and AGA-T+ at hoosier vapes and it's an extremely satisfying vape.

I've had two 18650 Ego T's since November. They vape well, but needed to replace the control unit on one already. Easy enough to do and not THAT expensive, but still...

I've been vaping about 2 months now and I like the vape scene alot. I'm a DIY kinda guy so I like all the myriad options and mods available.
Long term plan is to get a vamo, but in the meantime get my feet wet with some mod kit that will inform my palette and hopefully be compatible-ish with the vamo or whatever mod I settle down with in the end.
My current setup is vivi nova on ego-t 650 (go ahead, giggle!)
Ahh, the fabled classified and co-op access for the verified...My application is submitted. Like so many others, I wait...

A VV/VW mod would knock your socks off compared to your current setup. So would a standard voltage (mechanical) mod with a genesis atomizer.
To me, the best vape I've had is a mechanical mod with a genesis atomizer using a low ohm coil, second best is a VV/VW regulated device. There's a larger learning curve when it comes to rebuilables like a genesis though.

For almost two years, a 650 ego-t with a carto tank has been half of my go-anywhere vaping pair. Moving entirely to mechanical for improved durability, but I gotta admit egos have gotten the job done for me for a long time.
