eGo-T No Vape Blues

What happened? I'm vaping for 3 days, beautiful. Switch cartridge and no vape except for 1st hit. Changed batts and attys. Tried 3rd cart, same thing, good hit one time then nothing. This is my third day vaping and off the analogs. If this thing doesn't start working I don't know what to do.

The bule light comes on and and the atty heats up, but no vape. Hope you mechanics know something to help. Sad day.

Contact the vendor maybe he can help. I think the ego T tanks are terrible personally, I would suggest getting some cartos to use on the ego, much better vape! bnrk

If the blue light (sounds like a Riva - the eGo-t light is white) comes on, and the atty is heating up, then you're likely flooded - blow out the atty or carto from the batt end - make sure it isn't hot of course and see how it goes. Also, I know the terminology is special, but are you using the actual eGo-t atty and tank... you say cart... so not sure.

OK, my rig consists of a battery, eGo-T, the vaporizer, and a "cartridge" that holds the juice and is the mouth piece. I got it from Madvapes as a starter kit. Checked again this AM and same results. I had all three parts separated overnight, put it all together and got one good vape, then nothing. Another Sad Day.

Ok.. I went to their site and there's the 510 eGo-T kit

- assuming that's it. From what you've described I'm going to have to go along with "brnkwest" above and say contact the vendor. You're under a 30 day warranty and now is the time to act.... Perhaps an email, describing what is happening and any suggestion on how to fix or how to return the product.

Thanks for all your advise. I'm one to tinker, so I took apart one of the attys and fornd a tiny piece of plastic inside the wick. Cleared it with a wire and back to normal. Who would have thought....? I'm pre-punching those tanks from now on. Wow, this forum is great. Thanks again.

Aha! Yep. esp. on the T but I do it with the C's as well - prepunching not stops the leaking at that point (other leaks can occur from an 'overused cap' or the wicking needs adjustment. I pre-punch and then take some small sharp scissors and trim if needed. Glad you didn't have to send the thing back Also, on the T's (not so much on the C's) using the soft silicon cap stopped leaks for many here - not all. You'll find that at the very end of the tank is when you may experience some leaking, fill it up before that And some advocate not filling up the tank fully but I personally have never had a problem with that - I fill to the brim without a problem. All joye parts, imo, helps too.

I think instead of trying to save a few bucks and getting a knock off, you should spend a few extra bucks and get the Joyetech unit. I have a Joyetech Ego-C, and have not had any issues what so ever.

Just curious, but noseing about the net I've forund all the Ego-T products are manufactured by two companies in China. The offer OEM deals with resellers here in the US. So if that's true what does it matter which Ego-T you buy if they are all the same? including the Joye products? Just asking... BTY, I bought a couple of Smok Tec Mega Dual coil attys and think I like the Tank better.

Well, there have been Korean knockoffs too - if you go to the joyetech site... in their 'news' there's a release on the knockoffs and if you check their distributers list - it shows who they sell to.

I also tried the Dual Coils and they worked fine - they get a bit ratty after a while but so do all cartos with fillers, imo. I return to the tanks. One exception, so far has been the 'CC Cartos' (no filler) from heaven gifts... they're the only thing I have going besides the eGo-c tanks... except for on the reo-mini....
