Best check out the thread for ego-t

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/139915-new-ego-tank-system-new-post.html

Re your questions

1. Can be filled pretty often. I have had the same set since Dec 21st and still using them.

2. Tanks only compatible with ego-t atty

3. I'm a light vaper so don't need to clean often. If you use it correctly (long slow drags and rest the pv after 6 or 7 before vaping again) you could probably get away with just blowing out old juice and not cleaning at all, that's my experience nowadys. Like I said, I vape less than 1ml a day during the weekdays and maybe a ml or 1.5ml on weekend days, so your mileage will most likely vary.

I also think you are maybe confused about the system. Very easy to be with all the overwhelming info out there! The tanks are cartriges and can only be used on the actual tank attys, no other unit. But tank atty and cart can be used on other batteries with 510 thread.

I went with it as figured if didn't like it I still have an ego and can use all the different cartos etc on it still and find what I like.

I alternate between janty XL cartomizer and the tanks.

I've filled the two tanks I've used dozens of times. Sometimes I use a syringe to save wear on the cap, or if it's more convenient I just pop the cap off. They still work as good as the day I got them.

The tanks are only compatible with a tank atty because of their design. I believe the tank atty can be put on a 510 battery, though. They fit on my old blu batteries and my volcano passthough, and both of those can use 510 atties.

Different people recommend different lengths of time before a cleaning is necessary. From what I've read, most people wait a minimum of a week before cleaning. Some people prefer waiting two or more. I cleaned mine once I noticed a vast drop in vapor production. There are also many different ways people like to clean their atties, which aren't different than cleaning any other atty. Some just soak them in PGA, some people do a dry burn.

TPA flavors are from the Perfumer's Apprentice, lots of people like them.

I have 2 tank atties and I love them. I use it for when I am out and about. So easy to change flavors. Just blow out the atty and stick on the new tank/flavor. I do find that pure VG flavors sometimes need a draw before I fire the atty. If i get a slight burnt taste I give it a draw without firing and then fire it up and it is fine. I have been using mine for a month now with no problems.

I've been refilling the same 5 tanks for the month I've had the eGo-T. I always pop the end cap off. They haven't worn out yet :) I did order an extra 10 tanks anyway, just to be safe, but haven't had to dig into them yet.

As for cleaning, I have a few different ways listed in my blog, you can check it out through the link in my signature.
