Hello All! I am fairly new to vaping, started with the Greensmoke ecig, (I know, I know, but purchased before finding this site), anyway it has somewhat curbed my pack to pack and 1/2 day addiction. But, I have now realized I need something a little better to help me try and quit all together. I have read and read on this site for the last week to the point that I am now more confused then ever.

So, my question is...since I am used to the screw the cart on and smoke which model would be easier to use for a beginner? I do think I have narrowed it down to one of the two, but am still confused on how to fill carts, etc. I am thinking of just going with one of the starter kits and buying different liquids to try. Thanks in advance for all the help I am sure to receive!

hey welcome! I was in the same spot as you and am glad I got the great advice I did from this site..

I actually got away from the kit after a bit of advice and research and just bought a battery and a mini vivi nova carto..a smaller battery will not last as long as a larger battery, but the size of the larger battery may not be for you..the vivi is a really great carto and is rebuildable or you can just buy the replacement attys and screw them in..all the ecig is is a battery and an atomizer or a cartomizer..get a battery then grab a vivi and try out whatever juice you want..youtube will show you how to fill and clean them and it is probably the easiest thing ever once you get one in your hand and watch some videos..

here are two kits I have started a few people with the first is cheaper to help people get over the cost scare and a little more limited til they are sure they want to keep going, (always buy a few xtra batts in the future)
. the second contains adjustable batteries and is a great way to jump in.

Then later get a vivi tank
lol the smoktek titan is my current fav for chaining at the pc.

if you really want to avoid a kit you will need at least 2 batts, charger cart/tank etc. the second kit is ego twists and about the same cost as separate components anyways.

carts are easy to fill - pop the cap, put a tooth pick in the center(to block the hole) and add about 15-20 drops, done.
you will get a better experiance from the tanks in the kits i linked and even better wit ha real tank later on.

that is a very vague statement, they most likely are talking about the accessory not the battery, the tanks have a string inside them called a wick, like a candle wick, the juice needs to run up the wick to a little coil of wire to be heated, some devices do not wick some mixtures well. there are two types of juice PG and VG vg is thick and doesnt wick well so they mix it down with pg (which is thinner) alot of times

I read this on another site in regards to the eGo-T:
Please do not use with VG, or VG mixed liquids as they do not wick very well in the tank system

Is this true?

I just reread this and realized your looking at the ego with the tank system, dont bother you will most likely trsh the tanks that come with it fast, the ego style tanks are considered very inconsistent, and unreliable by many, get the ego twist batteries instead like the second kit i linked. the tank is better the batteries are adjustable and youll have more fun :)

Don't bother with the T systems. They tend to leak and in my experience the atomizers are hit and miss as far as how long they last. Much better off just buying some eGo batteries (much better life than the 510s) and either a couple Vivi Novas or some cartomizers. To be safe get at least 3 batteries, 2 chargers, and either 2 Novas or 4 cartos. You need backups.
