Do you know what kind of tank it is? It's possible the coil just isn't properly tightened in there and it's not making adequate connection.

Alternatively, the 510 pins (the little puck-shaped connector where your tank connects) can get squashed down a little bit from over-tightening of the tank. If you have a little screwdriver or tweezers you can wiggle it up a little bit. Here's a short video of someone doing it:

3 blinks = short .......... could be a problem with the tank, connection, too low ohms, your center pin has been pushed into the unit too much or eliquid got down onto the unit or is crusted or gunked up on your centerpin

try:
check the ohms on your tank/coil and the bottom center pin on the tank
cleaning the connectors on both the charger and the ego (and the tank)
gently lifting up on the center connector pin on the ego t with a non-metallic item like a toothpick

sounds like the new tank if the battery still works fine with the old tank, the center pin on the new tank might be too long and depressing the battery center pin or it might be too flush with it's own 510 connector causing a short. I would still clean up all of your contacts, battery, charger, tanks, it is not unusual to get eliquid down into the connection of your style of battery gunking things up.

The old tank working means the 510 pin should be good....new tank same as the old tank???? whats the resistance of the old tank vs new tank??? What kind of tank is old and new tank???
i'm sorry, i'm new to this whole thing so i kinda don't know the answers to these questions, what i do know is the new tank is a brand called "vivid" and it actually says on the box that this tank works only with a battery the same brand as the tank or something like that so i'm just gonna get a new tank or try and switch to a vape mod !!

Whatever you do, don't buy any more Vivid. PLEASE.

Vivid sell two types of tank. One is completely new and won't fit anything at all.
The other (the old one) should work on almost any battery.
They might even sell a special adapter that uses the new system (single-use refills) on old batteries.

I suspect you have the old system, as the tank fits your eGo-T but doesn't work, right?

The reason for that is selling you a bad 50p tank for £4.99.

Vivid are a tobacco company. They do not want people vaping refillable devices, so they can make millions of pounds... and it will cost you a small fortune to use their products. They don't care about compatibility.

Boycott Blu. Boycott Vivid. Don't let tobacco companies win.

(sorry....)
