While I woulda posted this as part of the original thread, I did want to at least post it where I could. Since I'm a new poster, but long-time reader, this is where I am relegated
First, here is the original post explaining how to create a wick mod for the Ego-T to help resolve the e-juice-ilating problem that I've experienced:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-type-models/169520-simplecjs-ego-t-wick-mod.html
Second, I wanted to mention that I was able to simply take these suggestions and removed the PTB suggestion. Taking approximately 1.5" of the rope, I folded it in half and pushed it through the bottom of the wick plate. Then I cut the folded piece of the rope at the angle of the wicking-needle, and at the bottom of the plate cut the wick to stick out approximately 1/4"-3/8" long.
My juice tastes better, and no more wet/messy fingers due to liquid dripping outside the vent holes!!
I've been so pleased with all other aspects of the Ego-T, that being able to resolve this problem has secured my place amongst the Ego-T users. In fact, I have two more on the way. Since I have now fixed my e-juice-ilating problem, I have convinced my wife to use them instead of analogs as well
Also, thanks to everyone for all of the advice and tips that are given on this board. Like I mentioned, I've been reading this board for a long time but thought I should finally sign-up and hopefully provide a little to the community that I've taken so much out of!
