Well the eGo-T is going to be a bit larger in diameter and it uses a tank/atty setup. I would say to go ahead and grab some 2 ohm Boge cartos and/or some clearos to go with your eGo-T. More often than not, there are troubles with the tank system as far as muted flavors, improper wicking and leaking. They are a great concept with a not so great execution. They do tend to be more trouble than they are worth, but the batteries are still of good quality. You may have no issues at all with using the 'T' system, but you will need to make sure that you are using the proper draw technique, slow and steady. Make sure to not fill the tanks up too much as to give yourself a proper feed of the liquid. If you are getting dry hits, give it a couple primer pulls. This is simply taking a draw from it without actually firing it. This helps pull the liquid into the atty. You will also be needing to clean your atomizer when the performance starts going under and also make sure to keep the threads and battery connection clean. Q-tips will work wonders here. You can check out this area of the forum for eGo specific models to get some more info as well eGo Type Models. Again, YMMV..but to not leave yourself hanging if/when the tank system isn't working for you, grab some 510 threaded cartomizers and clearomizers to use as well. They are generally inexpensive and will work great for you.

I started with an ego-T while the batteries where fine, I didn't like the tank system and had issues from day 1 with it. My boyfriend on the other hand liked the tank system which is why he got it for me.

I do agree with the others go ahead and get some cartos or clearos to have on hand, just in case. If you do like that tanks that's great, but you will still have a backup then when you need a different delivery system. As some juices I don't care how well you clean the tanks you never seem to get rid of the taste and those are the ones that never seem to mix well with anything else.

I started with the eGo T and had some problems with leaking which went away when I learned a few tricks. Hasn't leaked in months.

I tried the Boge after everyone raved about it, and I personally couldn't stand them ! The vapor had that taste of the cotton filler and they were a royal pain to keep clean. So I think the T is much superior, but just one opinion.

Your going to want to be sure an find some soft plastic caps vs the hard plastic mine came with also there are lower res version of the tank system that are a little better. I started on an ego-t after leaving Blu and I was satisfied enough but wanted something more. I ran the gauntlet many types of cartos attys and tanks, also tried variable voltage and high volt vaping. I have since went back to using 3.7 volt batteries and low res attys and direct dripping with a drip shield (bottom feeding attys work great in a drip shield).

Tricks??? Please tell me. I haven't had any leaks yet since this is my first day using the EgoT Mega Atomizer type B, which I really like. Much better than the Janty Neo Puromizer. I'm using the EgoT Atomizer on the Ego Twist and am really pleased with being able to find the perfect voltage for what I'm using.

I'll tell you, I can't understand it, but maybe it's inconsistencies in how these things are produced. I'm referring to what you said about the Boge cartomizer. I tried the smoketech dual whatever and each and every one of them tasted like plastic. Yet, there are tons of people who love them and claim they don't get this plastic taste. I had the same experience with the fluxomizers. They came highly reccommended, but they tasted like plastic. This is even after I had to modify them as everyone seems to suggest, in order to improve how they work. I don't wan t to have to modify anything, I just want to be able to use it out of the box. So I tried the Boge cartomizer and I loved it. So, I wonder, how much is subjective and how much is manufacturing inconsistency. Beats me. Also drives me crazy.

I have not had any luck with clearomizers , fluxomizers , stardusts etc...they always end up tasting burnt. I love the taste of e liquid on an atomizer without filler however it gets there but second best would be a boge 2.0 low resistance cartomizer on the ego twist at about 4.0-4.2v they taste pretty good.

Get a Vivi Nova V2 or V2.5. When you're tired of the drama that's built into every eGo-T, and you just want a leakfree, hassle free vape without modifying this or that or remembering to pull just right, you'll be glad you did.

No, they're not like any Stardust, fluxomizer, phoenix or any other clearomizer. They don't get any plastic or burnt taste and there's no modifications to do. Did I mention they absolutely do not leak or flood? And there's no polyester fill to burn or make your juice taste like "cotton".

They look a bit top-heavy on the eGo batteries, but you can fix that somewhat with a tank cone. It'll still look kind of like a magic wand, but that's o.k., because you'll be thinking that there is, in fact, magic involved, especially when coming from an eGo tank system.

Thanks for the reality test. I need it
Secondly, amazing, yes! The boge 2 lr carto on the ego twist at 4.0-4.2v gave me the best vape I've had yet.

Well i have had my EGO t for about a week now and i am really enjoying it i am using just the set i was sent im not having any problems with it except i had to get used to taking a harder draw from it then i was taking with my 510 other then that i love the battery life and the tank setup is alot better then dripping every ten minutes might be exagerating there but it seems like i had to drip alot because of how much i use the e cig so the tank setup is alot better for me maybe i can try some of the low resistance tanks when these go bad or do these go bad.

Another question i have is how long does the atty's last that comes with the ego t just so i will know when i should order some more because all i have is the two that came with my set and for some reason i havent seen the site i use on here which is vaporleaf.com maybe i can get some input if any on that site thanks for all the replies everyone i am looking forward to hearing from all of you again thanks alot

My experience with the Ego atty's is that they actually last quite well - 2+ weeks. Other than the tighter draw, if you're happy with them, no reason to change. But, if you're interesting in trying something different, I suggest the Kanger T2 clearo's or the Vivi Nova with low resistance heads. The Kanger will be a cleaner physical fit.
