I'm new to the electronic cigarette world and I started by buying the Joye Ego-T and the Joye 510-T. I didn't realize that you are supposed to use a special charger for the 510-T and instead I used the Ego-T charger for both my Ego-T and my 510-T. Now, two of my Ego-T units aren't working. Can I just get new atomizers or batteries or do I need to scrap the whole thing????

Ugh, I think I did the same thing. I bought an extra charger that said it was a "510 Battery Charger" from MadVapes. It didn't say that it was not for Kgo/Ego type batteries. It fried my battery, and now all my battery does is flash. I emailed MadVapes and they said I needed a 420mah charger. Who knew???! It's really annoying!

Really it should be ok using a 510 charger (200mA) on an eGo style it should only take longer to charge..using a eGo charger (420mA) on a smaller 510 battery might not be a good idea though as it might charge it too fast. There is a battery that is opposite polarity with a 510 connector that could cause big issues but it's not named eGo/KGO or 510..can't remember the name...

I thought it would be ok; the battery was fine before I put it on the charger. Now it flashes all the time except when a cartomizer is connected, then it stops flashing but still doesn't work :(

I charged my 3 Smok Tech eGo's on a 510 charger for about a week because it didn't say..with no issues..but after a couple days I was sick of waiting 6 hours for them to charge and I messaged them and ordered a eGo charger. They told me the 510 should be ok but using a eGo charger would be better. Anyways less amps shouldn't have fried your batteries or anything in them. Well if I were to guess it probably fried a circuit board not the batteries themselves but still shouldn't have.

Somewhere it is written not to charge ego batteries with a 510 charger. I just dont know where...

Yeah I've read it somewhere too but it doesn't make that much sense because it's the same charger in every way except less amps..under-amping a battery shouldn't hurt anything it should just take longer to reach a full charge.
