Hi all,

I got my Ego T tank (my first e-cig) yesterday. (W/ 5ml of Rich & Menthol) I am amazed at how close this thing is to the 'full girlfriend experience' of my analogs. I went down to 11 (from about 20-25) smokes the 1st day! Very cool.

I have a couple of questions though.
Are the juice tanks RE-usable (after the first pierce) or no? Do I need a new one with each fill? I ask because 1 of 2 of mine leaked all the juice out overnight after I filled it the second time. (The other was okay.) Can I buy the little pierce caps only, or do I have to replace the tank when it starts to leak. Is there any other cure for this leakage?

Are LR attys available for the T-Tank? And if so, where?

Is it okay to use electrical contact cleaner inside the atty?

Thanks to you all for being here and for your help.

You should be able to refill the tanks indefinitely. I haven't seen the tank caps available by themselves yet, but that's a great idea. So far, the only suggestion I've seen regarding a leaking tank cure is that it's possible that the tank is more likely to leak if you use it on a different atomizer from the one that pierced it to begin with (so, same tank/same atomizer) and not to wiggle it side to side.

Are LR attys available for the T-Tank? And if so, where?

I don't think the atomizer is available in LR yet.

That's all I've got :)

Good luck!

I don't take the cap off. I put the tank on empty and give a half twist then fill with a 1ml pipette. I only fill them alittle more than 3/4. I filled one all the way and it leaked alittle. Since the no leaks perfect vape everytime. I have had no problems in the 3 weeks using this tank atty. Here's the link to the instructions I followed

I wouldn't do that.

I have only had mine a few days, but I have not had any leaks and have reused the same two carts over and over. I pop the cap off to fill them, but I suppose a blunt tipped syringe would probably be easier. I saw a post from Scottbee about his leaking once a way he thinks he fixed it, might be worth a shot: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...9915-new-ego-tank-system-139.html#post2605680

I am loving the tank. The first atty I ordered from TW and it only lasted two days. I need to check to see if they are offering an exchange on the first batch. I received my second atty which was from CigNot today. So far it is doing a much better job than the first. Here's to hoping it lasts longer than two days!

Some are saying that they are losing flavor with the tank, but I think I am getting more myself. I was on the ego mega attys/carts. Those rocked but I think the tank takes it to the next level. I highly recommend the tank.

Thanks to all for your help. Great learning experience. After reading this and the linked threads, (T.Y. Kellie & Phreaker) it appears my Ego Tank may be suffering from 'Operator Error'.

Rosa: No, no syringe. I popped the lil' cap off to fill. But I'm gonna try that (& several other things I learned today.) Heck, just the dry (no heat) puffs made a difference!

Again, I appreciate all of your help. Bye for now.

Yes, PV's are absolutely amazing! The new Tank is simply wonderful as well.
The tanks are definately reusable, at least on the same atty, if you change the atomizer you may see some issues with resealing if the puncture tip is slightly different on the new atty. Make sure to push the Tank cart all the way in as far as it will go.
I have not seen any LR attys yet, but these things create great vapor. I have one running 2.4ohms and one running 2.6.
You really don't need contact cleaner. Alchohal or IPA work just fine and a little left in the atty doesn't concern me as contact cleaner might not be too good to vape.
Good luck on your new venture, you chose a great PV!
