Are you using a thick juice, mostly VG? If so you may need to thin it out some. If not it may be a wicking problem.. I think there is a video on youtube about adjusting the wick.

I started with the ego-t and after a month both atty's died on the same day..After that I went to the ego mega dual coil cartos and the boge 2.0 cartos and have not used a tank since...

I went through the eGo-T tank fiasco. I got pretty good service using 70pg/30vg juices, but the leaks drove me to Boge 2.0 cartos and I never looked back. I still have the tanks in a zip lock bag in a box of stuff I don't use anymore.

Thinner juice is the answer. The silica wicks are the problem. They don't wick thick VG juices well at all. That also applies to most clearomizers, IMO. The good part is that you already have the right batteries for 510 Boge LR 2.0 ohm cartos.

Until you resolve it with a juice change, try letting it sit upright for a couple of minutes between vapes to aid absorption by the wick.

Ok seriously you will save a lot of time and money and agony by trashing them. Many including myself have and never looked back

I did none of the above and have had total success with my original Joye EGO T(1000mah batts, Type A attys). Bought in Aug/11 and still using the same ATTYS, Batts and tanks. Exremely cost efficient. Why waste money when something works so well.JMHO.

I went through the eGo t learning curve. It worked great initially for a noob. Even with the silicone caps I got leakage. The attys kept clogging. The hit was lacking. I was ready to move up. I got some of these Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer & my attys & tanks are now retired. I have the 1000mah batts & they work great.

Do I have to use dual coil carto's if I get that tank?

The only issues I ever had with the Atty's I used with my Joye Ego were when I picked up a few no label brand for 6.00 apiece. I thought I was getting a deal but was the poorest choice and worst experience I've had in my 8 months of vaping. With the genuine joye atty's I blew them out and after a few draws all was good. No leaking issues though I used/use the Type A cones though stuck with the plastic caps and still do other than one rubber cap I was given and it works well also.

Ugg, I tried that ego-tank and it was awfull!!, I mean real bad, that primer taste from the tank or atty would not go away!...I say dump it. Keep the batteries, they are good. But the tank/atties throw them away. I don't know how people are still using that system. It is the worst! I went to the Boge 2.0/Cart Tanks (Arryv3) and never looked back...Now I'm waiting for the Vision ego Stardust clearomizers to be in stock from GotVaps. Heard good things about them.

peace

Get on youtube and look for some videos about atty cleaning and wick adjustment for the ego T.

I do something along these lines...
Pull the spike plate out with some needle nose pliers.
CAREFULLY remove the wick from the spike plate.
Drop the atty in some PGA or Vodka
Run the wick CAREFULLY under hot water and rinse it clean.
The wick is only held together with a little mesh. If it comes apart, it's possible but tricky to re-roll it.
Set both aside to dry.
Once the atty has soaked a bit, run it under hot water. I usually suck and blow hot water through it like a straw.
Blow it dry as best as possible
Start doing a pulsing dry burn on the atty. Blow on the coils as they heat up.
Keep pulsing as they get red hot but be careful not to get them too hot and pop it.
If you see stuff burning off the coils... rinse, blow and burn again. repeat as needed.
Put the wick CAREFULLY back into the spike plate and make sure its adjusted properly. (Youtube!)
I push the wick up and the use a pin to push it back down so it's level with the bottom edge of the spike.
Fluff the bottom of the wick a tiny bit and put a couple of drops of juice down the spike
Put the spike plate back on the DRY atty and make sure to align the plate with the coils.
Use the open end of a bic pen (or similar) over the spike plate and apply even pressure to snap it back into place.
Put your tank in, take a couple of primer pulls and then vape away.

Unfortunately, this process may need to be repeated often enough to drive you crazy and turn you over to cartos forever. BUT you can get a great vape from a cleaned and adjusted ego-T... and then it will take a piss in your pocket.

I started with the ego-t. After a few weeks I tried boge cartos and my ego atties have been gathering dust ever since.
If you plan to stay with the ego batteries (i.e. Not upgrading to a decent mod) then I suggest the mega dual coil cartos, too. They perform great on ego batts!

Agree 100percent. Or the star dust is even better
