Hi there! I just got a knock-off eGo-T (Yeah, I didn't know that they were sold originally by joyetech), but it works amazingly. The only problem is that the atomizers seem to die quickly when I wash them. I suppose getting a clearomizer would be a wiser decision? Do you think this would be a wise decision in terms of durability?

This time, I know where all the authentic stuff is sold, and I'm going on vacation soon and stopping by the shop. I'm thinking about getting an eGo Vision Clearomizer V2 (the one with the longer wicks) and an eGo-C Twist w/1000 mAh battery.

By the way, about the knock-off, its performance is astounding and the price difference was only like $10 ($80 for authentic ego-t starter kit and $70 for the knock-off). I wasn't getting a knock-off because it was cheap. I was getting it because that's the only e-cig sold in my city.

Do you have a link? The older rebuildable requires pulling apart the clearo and wrapping wire around new wick- have done it and not so easy. New version comes with replacement wick and coil in one piece- less than 5 sec to replace.

By rebuildable, do you mean that I can replace the heating element if it goes bad? I'm not certain what you mean, as I'm only seeing "eGo Vision Clearomizer V2 SR" on the product's title on the vendor website.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to understand the language. It's in Romanian. Here's the link: clearomizer eGo Vision SR 2,2ohmi

That is still actually a V1. The V2 Vision eGo is quite a bit different (and better)

Notice the knuraled base and the tank that screws on instead of being a press fit.

With the Vivi nova short wick you only have tilt the tank every 6? Vapes or so. You could also order the long replacement heads for it. Be forewarned I own Vivi nova short and long wick. They don't look very nice unless on a large PV and the threads show and too large. Stardust Clearomizers much nicer looking. Also have stardust Clearos.

Alright. I don't think I'd like to have the Vivi, especially since it looks very box-like. I just saw a clearomizer made by a Romanian vendor with a TON of good reviews on some forum: NOU !! R3 Ego-T Clearomizer 2012 LR - Vapers-One

This seems like a good option also, although I can't really tell because I can't see the wick.

By the way, there was one question that wasn't answered, which I'd like to expand into three: How do clearomizers compare in general with regular atomizers? Are they more durable? What's the average lifespan of one?

EDIT: On the same site, I'm seeing something that looks like a Vision 2.0, only the wick is short as hell. I guess I can take it out and attach a longer one? --> Vision 2.0 Clearomizer fumuriu - Vapers-One

    You're best to get
    Vision 2.0 Clearomizer fumuriu - Vapers-One
and then later buy the long wick "screw on" replacement heads.
Re comparing attys to Clearos no comparison. Clearos do mute flavor....in fact ALL tank systems mute flavors. Attys have best flavor but are time consuming. Perhaps your next purchase would be a bottom feeder? Clearos last 2-4 weeks depending on the juice. I wash mine every 2? days.

HealthCabin is ECF LISTED and are a highly regarded vendor. Have ordered lots from them but I always wait their sales. Last one was 30- 50% off. They also have an ECF forum on the ECF mainpage.

OK. Screw Romanian vendors. I found a Chinese vendor (HealthCabin) that has very cheap shipping to Romania and TONS of products.
